It’s ergonomic if you set it up right. I have a stand that I attach my IPAD to and pull out my mini mouse and keyboard and don’t have neck pains. With a laptop, you have to crane your neck down to look at it. I see it as like a laptop with a detachable screen.

It’s also less invasive that way, you can get a laptop stand but it looks ridiculous in coffee shops.

Ask HN: Software Licenses Confusion

Is it within a company’s rights to sell a non-consumable product, let’s say “Access all of software for X cost”, then within a year or two, turn around and say “Access all of software for X cost with subscription but folks who purchased all software before without subscription now lose access”?Based off my little knowledge of software licensing, that seems like it’s legal and allowable. I wish this article referenced the data used in the sentence where it claims certain facts.

Such as the first sentence: “Close to 100% of people who take antidepressants experience some form of sexual side effects.”

You have to take pills more often (3x a day vs 1 a day) and only one potential benefit over SSRI which is less likelihood of sexual dysfunction.

SSRI withdrawals/side effects are the least worst out of medications like Xanax, beta blockers and other anxiety medicine. So… there are drugs with more devastating effects.

This problem isn’t just related to mental disorders. I think you are also undermining how difficult changing human behavior is, especially in relation to mental disorders and addictions. Ideally, SSRI’s are used to make behavioral changes easier.

What is causing the astronomical increase in rents in San Diego?

The rent for my old crappy apartment was originally $1,900 for a 2BR 2B. It is now $3,200.My current apartment was $2,700. It is now listing for $4,000.$4,000 used to be able to give you a brand new luxury apartment in La Jolla. This all occurred in the past year, maybe even the past two to three months. What has changed in San Diego? Why are rent prices so expensive now?
