Re:Almost Everyone Developing Tor Was Paid by the US Government (2014) on Monday January 13, 2025 @03:35PM (#42688818)
Yes, Tor was developed by the US Government for US spies in Russia.

GPS was developed by the US Government.

RSA was classified by the US Government.

Lots of other stuff is also connected to the US government.

The title is misleading.

Re:Trump wants to change Gulf of Mexico's name to "Gulf of America" on Tuesday January 07, 2025 @06:41PM (#42629090)
Now I am in a debate.

Is this bad because he is trying to associate more things with the USA, or good because America is two whole continent where Mexico is just a country.

Check out this media bias chart.

https://adfontesmedia.com/interactive-media-bias-chart/

Hint: though some search features are paid etc. There is raw data in JSON format in the raw HTML code.

Also check https://www.allsides.com/media-bias

Google News works decent.

My problem is that very few media are right leaning, so bias meditation via counterweight is impossible.

Re:The $5000 Compression Challenge on Saturday November 23, 2024 @04:36PM (#42224126)
I though he would try to net profit through probability by requesting to regenerate the file and hope to get a compressible one in at least 5000/100=50 times. (Though I don't think that would work.)

Thank you so much for making this.

I am still figuring out how exactly the filter works. The guide you linked is great, but I was confused how to replicate the steps in your editor.

Fur purposes of playing around, it would be great if you linked some good images/examples. The ones in my download folder are kind of bad.

More people die of Suicide than Malaria aparently.

Somehow what actually kills people, is different from what you think kills people.

Re:GitHub Lists on Sunday October 13, 2024 @02:32PM (#41830332)
Someone should make a search engine for these.
