I don’t think the paying customers are getting the patch either.
Re:WTF Ubuntu? on Monday November 02, 2026 @11:42AM (#50339535)
Do you understand what an enterprise software support contract is?

Ubuntu Pro is $500 per machine for enterprise.

Re:Investing in the public benefit on Sunday October 18, 2026 @03:52PM (#50144757)
Anthropic has a PR machine? Doesn’t seem it’s working very well.
Re:The GPU Black Market That Washington Can't Shut Down on Thursday October 01, 2026 @07:01PM (#49928068)
91% on Pangram. Shame because it would be a really interesting topic.
Re:Git 3.0's upcoming SHA-256 default will be a costly mistake on Thursday October 01, 2026 @01:25PM (#49924520)
What does OpenAI have anything to do with this?
Re:GLM-5.3 and the spread of advanced cyber capabilities on Tuesday September 29, 2026 @04:51PM (#49900318)
I still don’t understand why Anthropic posted this. This is just basically saying GLM-5.3 is almost as good as Mythos but sans the limits?
Re:Will There Be a 7G? on Saturday September 12, 2026 @03:38PM (#49676370)
Both the abstract and the introduction score a 100% on Pangram. What’s going on there?

CEO of Oreo Cookies: the oreo cookie is as important as oxygen.
Refreshing to see a post that gets straight to the point and not hide the data behind pages of prose.
Re:Chrome again exempts Google from user site data settings on Saturday September 05, 2026 @11:38PM (#49583105)
This is what the “Allow Chrome sign-in” setting is for and is turned off by the post author.
Re:Ask HN: Advice on Migrating from 1Password? on Thursday September 03, 2026 @09:10AM (#49549500)
Thankfully, second order effect is a spectrum and not a black-and-white thing.

Yes, why not?
Re:Quasar 438B: Europe's Leading AI Model on Wednesday September 02, 2026 @02:47PM (#49540634)
I instinctively distrust any company that makes their national origin the main selling point. To me that's a subtle signal that they cannot compete on technical merit.
Re:I accidentally turned LLM memory into program analysis on Friday August 28, 2026 @11:23PM (#49486607)
Ctrl-F “prolog”: 0 result. :-/
I assume you don’t use Claude a lot? If you interact with it on a daily basis, it becomes your second instinct to identify its writing. Anthropic models talk like they are penalized by making sentences flow naturally. "The X I didn’t expect" is basically a mandatory section of a Claude-authored blog post at this point.
Re:LLMs won't break symmetric crypto on Thursday August 06, 2026 @01:07AM (#49192695)
You are expecting people to read 25K+ lines of code in a single Python file that is generated by LLM and then translate all the comments written in Russian?
100% on Pangram.
Re:Codeberg bans vibe coded projects on Wednesday July 22, 2026 @05:50AM (#49004188)
It’s very poetic that codes written without human efforts can be efficiently dealt without human efforts.
Re:Minikotlin on Friday July 17, 2026 @10:24AM (#48947744)
The Kotlin/WASM work is in the main repo. This submission has no source code and barely any technical detail.
Re:How to stop Claude from saying load-bearing on Tuesday July 14, 2026 @02:33PM (#48911178)
If anything it proves the opposite imo.
Will they revisit the decision to not add a permission model to VSCode extensions?

This is Claude talking isn’t it.

It’s a factual statement on how they misused the funds.

Please just state directly why you find the inclusion objectionable.

> I'm not entirely sure why that's relevant

Because they are funding young people to visit Israel and this gives it context.

You need to remember one is investing heavily in clean energy and expanding its capacity rapidly and the other one is not.
Re:The US Is Winning the AI Race on Wednesday May 13, 2026 @09:16PM (#48129958)
Fully AI generated according to Pangram.

Can we have a rule where LLM generated texts require a disclosure or be removed?

Edit: The entire blog seems AI generated. Huh.

Well I have great news. Complaining about AI detection comments is not going to make it go away.
