Re:Heartbleed hack case sees first arrest in Canada on Thursday April 17, 2014 @05:08AM (#7602624)
Google is one of the company which is affected very badly by HeartBleed bug, Almost all the services like YouTube, Gmail by Google are affected. Amazon, Yahoo! are also in the same list. We just need give attention to Apple & Microsoft who are not affected by Heartbleed. Check out detail list which shows list of company who are affected or not by this issue. http://www.dazeinfo.com/2014/04/17/google-inc-goog-worst-aff...
Mark target is future not present, if we pay a close attention to his shopping bag which contain Instagram, WhatsApp & Oculus VR these product make sense only if you have internet or you are a game lover. With this Mark will control whole internet market.
Re:Facebook To Discontinue Messaging Feature in Mobile App on Wednesday April 16, 2014 @03:13AM (#7596509)
Is this because they have WhatsApp now and they will use them as messenger App, but Facebook has 1.22 billion monthly active user whereas WhatsApp has just 435 or 460 million user. There is a big gap.
Let’s take a closer look at the details of Project Ara: http://www.dazeinfo.com/2014/04/02/google-inc-goog-project-a... Ara will have a Google branded endoskeleton but the rest of the components (modules) will be licensed out to third-party manufacturers. The endoskeleton will be available in three different size configurations – Mini (between 4.0 – 4.5 inches), Medium (4.5 – 5.0 inches) and Jumbo (5.0 inches and beyond).
Re:Hands On Review of the HTC One (M8): Simply the Best on Tuesday April 15, 2014 @03:29AM (#7590736)
HTC One M8 Beats Apple iPhone 5S In Touch Response Time. Smartphone makers and fans have always declared that better specifications are what makes their devices stand out from others. Many smartphones claim they are the best simply because they have better camera, processor or longest battery life. While all these factors play a key role, there are a few that truly affect the device experience, and display latency is one such overlooked factor. Older devices have latency between 80ms-250ms, meaning it takes almost a quarter of a second to respond to every touch. This is most common on apps which require dragging fingers across the screen. Delayed touch response time increases the possibility of inaccurate touches and the device will feel less responsive. http://www.dazeinfo.com/2014/04/14/htc-one-m8-apple-iphone5s...
Re:IOS adoption on Tuesday April 15, 2014 @01:24AM (#7590414)
iOS adoption is always high when compared with Google Android adoption for example Android KitKat Adoption of the new OS has been slow at best, with just 5.3% of all Android devices running on it, since its release almost six months ago. This lack of adoption is a worry for Google, as it means several app developers will need to downgrade their apps to be compatible across all the previous versions of Android. http://www.dazeinfo.com/2014/04/11/google-inc-goog-android-v...
This is true, Most of the Android manufacturer are paying some patent fees to Microsoft for example Samsung is paying $ 10 to Microsoft on every Android powered smartphone, this amount was $ 15 trimmed down to $ 10 after Samsung agreed to bring our Windows Phone Powered smartphone market. Case is almost same with HTC, LG just they vary in amount they pay. In Q2 2013 Microsoft Corporation Earned $1.51 Billion From Android Smartphone Vendors [REPORT] Microsoft earned a total of $1.51 billion (approx) from 131 million Android devices that were shipped out by Android smartphone vendors. The total earning from Android royalties would surge up with the inclusion of royalties collect from Android powered Tablet sales. http://www.dazeinfo.com/2013/09/13/microsoft-corporation-msf...
Re:Samsung Galaxy S5 Crash Test Epic Fail on Thursday April 10, 2014 @03:22AM (#7564634)
As Galaxy S5 is not made of premium material, Well HTC One M8 & iPhone 5C can survive this test.
Re:Google Glass Saved A Life on Thursday April 10, 2014 @03:14AM (#7564609)

Re:Facebook to remove messaging from core app on Thursday April 10, 2014 @02:55AM (#7564547)
My question is why? Is this because they have WhatsApp under their arms?
Re:Microsoft ends support for Windows XP and Office 2003 on Tuesday April 08, 2014 @08:53AM (#7553037)
Windows XP is incorporated so deeply in utility management systems, that it would cost an estimated US$100 million and several years of work to upgrade the outdated system. Research by EHI intelligence revels that 85% of England’s healthcare system IT systems were still using Windows XP. http://www.dazeinfo.com/2014/04/07/hackers-will-pounce-micro...
Re:Samsung's Goal: "Beating Apple is #1 Priority" on Tuesday April 08, 2014 @06:53AM (#7552572)
Beating Apple:- In my opinion they already beated all the smartphone manufacturer, for example in 2013 Apple shipped 153 million iPhone where as Samsung shipped 313 million smartphone, so where is the question of beating, they already did that. Yes your point should be in revenue or profit so i would say it's very difficult because both the company have different strategy. So Samsung you should focus on profit margin rather than shipment number.
Re:IOS 7 adoption over 87%, Android KitKat 5% on Tuesday April 08, 2014 @04:20AM (#7552100)
Just wait for High-end device like Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8 and Sony Xperia Z2. Apple forces iOS user to upgrade to latest OS because most of the apps in the Apple store will not work if your iPhone or iPad is not updated with the latest version of Android.
Re:Microsoft ends support for Windows XP and Office 2003 on Tuesday April 08, 2014 @03:58AM (#7552032)
Today On April 8 2014, the decade long support from Microsoft for Windows XP will be terminated. This means no more security updates, patches, or technical support for the popular OS, which is still running on 30% of all computers. It's very interesting to see how it affect the XP user who are using it, after the end of XP support era. Research by EHI intelligence revels that 85% of England’s healthcare system IT systems were still using Windows XP.
Re:Fire TV, and Amazon's Commitment to Consumption on Friday April 04, 2014 @06:29AM (#7530390)
Fire is the name of flagship product from Amazon for example Kindle Fire. Now Fire TV it's all about making best use of supply chain and Amazon store present worldwide.
Cloud is the future, as they are being part of smartphone, tablet and many more services. Company like Amazon, Google and Microsoft have reduced the price of their cloud services just to remain in competition. Microsoft is aggressive in cloud business thanks to the new CEO.
Re:Why Facebook Advertising Is Dead (Mostly) on Friday April 04, 2014 @06:16AM (#7530348)
I would day not dead, but ROI is very poor if we calculate the amount which we invest in Facebook marketing.
This is something outstanding, this innovative idea will help most of the company to get report without investing resource on analytics report.
As people came to know how to use Windows powered PC without Start Button, Microsoft came back with tradition in Windows 8.1. It's great to see how Microsoft is going through transition phase and they don't want to miss a single thing that would lead them into trouble. As Microsoft is giving free Windows Phone OS to some of Indian smartphone manufacturer & Free Windows to any of the manufacturer who are making device with less than 9 inch screen. This strategy shows how much Microsoft is committed towards Smartphone & Tablet.
Re:Google's Project Ara brings Blocks modular smartwatch on Wednesday April 02, 2014 @04:31AM (#7514268)
This is the project which made Google a real engineer company. Project Ara a great initiative by Google but as of now they are focused on Smartphone not smartwatch as far as news are concerned, Google came up with Android wearable os not the kit for smartwatch as they came up with for smartphone.
Re:Spring cleaning: Five Google projects that need to die on Wednesday April 02, 2014 @02:31AM (#7513925)
I checked the list, i would say yes to Orkut because Google is focused on Google+ but i am wondering why quick office and Google Now? Google is aggressive on Google Now they released this in-order to compete with Apple Siri, but best part is Google Now is available to mac & iPhone user if they are using Google chrome. Last but not the least there are project like Google Glass and many other which need to be removed because they are just eating money and resource in my opinion.
Re:Microsoft Azure: Cutting prices on compute and storage on Tuesday April 01, 2014 @04:17AM (#7506771)
This is a great strategy by Microsoft and it's part of "1st Mobile & 1st Cloud" strategy which is being adopted by Microsoft New CEO. As Nokia X came into market where user will get 7 GB of free cloud & this will increased upto 10 GB if user allow camera access to the cloud. Cut-throat competition is about to begin in cloud market, each and every player are ready to compete with attractive offering.
Well as of now they may not be interested in Android Wear OS, but soon they will join the platform. As According to NextMarket insights, the market for smartwatch will grow significantly in 2014. From 5 million shipments worldwide in 2013, the number will grow up to 15 million in 2014. Shipments are projected to increase to 37 million by 2015 and almost 373 million by 2020. The smartwatch revolution will be driven by Asia, where low-cost Android powered smartwatches could become popular in emerging economies as an alternative to phones. New segments of the market such as fitness/active lifestyle and youth will fuel growth in coming years. http://www.dazeinfo.com/2014/03/19/google-inc-goog-android-w...
If it's Amazon then they will go with Forked Android as they have maintained their identity in Tablet market with the name of Kindle. Amazon came up with a great strategy of using forked Android and integrate Amazon services for app store and many more.
Re:Google Android Watch is a Phone Screen on Your Wrist on Friday March 21, 2014 @04:16AM (#7441197)
I would say, but just to notify that you are getting a call. Do you why Smartphone manufacturer are jumping into Smartwatch domain, it's not only about shipment, it's about providing one single ecosystem to all the user either it's smartphone, Tablet or Smartwatch. In a recent study :- Google Android Wear Will Trigger Smartwatch Race To 373 Million Units By 2020 http://www.dazeinfo.com/2014/03/19/google-inc-goog-android-w...
1 Million Pre-order is a big number as of now, But it would be interesting to see Global Number. Nokia X is a great device of 4-inch screen size, just 512 MB RAM will be an issue as the system will be slow if we install more number of Apps. It's Interesting to see how Microsoft is going to a clear winner in this game, As this Nokia X device uses Microsoft services.
It would be interesting to see if Samsung Galaxy S5 can set up some new record.
Mobile Or Smartphone? If It's Smartphone then it's a great idea because In India people are demanding big screen which comes with 2000mAh (5-inch screen) So Smartphone user are facing issue with battery. If it's mobile charger also the scenario is great because in India we have 900 million mobile device, which include 80 Million smartphone as of now. Last but not the least This setup will help India in a long run, This boy need good team member to have his company.
