Kudos to you for acknowledging your error and correcting it. We certainly do need more high IQ (>128) math PhDs with integrity, like yourself. Please do consider pursuing higher math in a full time capacity.

What you're describing is similar to Pascal's Wager: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascal%27s_wager

Would love to hear more about your analytics work in League of Legends. Is it fair to say that the "useful" numbers/stats tend to be low-hanging fruit and not particularly interesting / requiring of creativity? I imagine with a fairly dynamic meta-game, you're limited by the data available to you, which can quickly become obsolete.

I'd also imagine any data you can crunch from solo queue games is of limited use in competitive play.

Not exactly "anyone can do this," but the first paragraph in the above link:

"The answer is an emphatic NO. In order to make good and useful contributions to mathematics, one does need to work hard, learn one’s field well, learn other fields and tools, ask questions, talk to other mathematicians, and think about the “big picture”. And yes, a reasonable amount of intelligence, patience, and maturity is also required. But one does not need some sort of magic “genius gene” that spontaneously generates ex nihilo deep insights, unexpected solutions to problems, or other supernatural abilities."

The combination of getting romantic advice from movies and the statutory rape vibes of this comment would lead me to suggest not following this advice, OP.

Are there any particularly interesting exposes that you'd recommend? I'm curious to read more about this sort of thing.

Has the classic ML course been deprecated? I noticed that following link no longer works: https://course.fast.ai/lessonsml1/lesson1.html

EDIT: looks like they've been moved to the following link instead: http://course18.fast.ai/ml.html

As employee #1, presumably you had a say in choosing the tech stack - any particular reason why you chose F#?
Funnily enough, as of this writing, the top ranked google result (at least for me) is this post.

If you're going to take that stance, you should do a better job of qualifying your opinions. You think women "avoid tech because they think tech guys are unattractive" - simply asserting this to be true doesn't do much for your argument. Likewise with the whole "women are also interested in money."

Does anyone know of any similar resources for Pandas?

I've found the following to be quite helpful but would love to know if anyone knows of other resources in a similar vein: https://pandas.pydata.org/pandas-docs/stable/cookbook.html

Seems pretty easy to quantify - it looks like there are ~37K motor vehicle deaths in a given year [0] and "Approximately 6.2 million patient transport ambulance trips occur annually." [1]

Ambulances would need to save their passengers' lives <1% of the time for them to "break even" so to speak.

Honestly, as an enthusiast of all things callipygian, Sir Mix-A-Lot's treatise (BGB) was groundbreaking.

To your point about being unable to control his own reptile brain, however, I don't know how much I buy that. From the get-go, SMA acknowledges that "[he] cannot lie", which I think is a concession to determinism more so than one to biology.

What's the harm? You're ripping off other people's content to advertise your "Founder Playbook" app. Do you really not see the issue here?
