Re:Ask HN: suggested sweet laptops for running Ubuntu?

I'm currently running Crunchbang on Acer 14inch laptop with an i7 processor and 4gb ram, I removed the stickers so I don't know the model number but this machine runs like a beast when using Crunchbang. The distro is based on Debian but I'm sure ubuntu or any other GNU/Linux distro will work fine with it too. I'd recommend it, its pretty fun to use and portable too (14inch screen is just the right size for programming whilst also maintaining true portablity, you don't want to be running around with a 17inch laptop do you?). Also its pretty affordable too, I got it around 10 months ago for £550 which was a great deal

Re:How to use Google AdSense Ads on Responsive Websites

Same, a few years back I had a website getting 1M+ pageviews per month and making me substantial income for me to consider dropping out of secondary school and then out of nowhere, no warnings, I got banned for click fraud. Dodged a bullet, never ever using Adsense again.

I hope Reddit follows up with a blog post on how they handled the load and how it affected the amount of new sign-ups

That's true but its still pretty funny and interesting nonetheless, I'd estimate that on a larger sample it would still be over atleast 30%

I've been doing something similar, I eat 5 days a week and diet on two (less than 200 calories) in order to decrease body fat and it has been working out great, I can defiantly say that physically I'm more aesthetically pleasing and able to control my weight pretty well.
