That's interesting. I'll make a video and upload it.

Strange Google Hangout Phenomenon

Why does my laptop's camera light briefly turn on after making a phone call using Google voice? It's a simple phone call that doesn't use my camera, so why does the light flicker on briefly afterward?Does anyone else experience this?

Re:HN: I was fired today, is this even legal? on Wednesday April 09, 2014 @12:05PM (#7560162)
What's the name of the company? What's the name of the manager that got you fired?
You can't delete your Google+ account without deleting your YouTube account now. That's a devious move, Google. I want to keep my YouTube account, because I have videos on there with 100k+ views that I use for my resume. Now, I'm torn - what can I do?

This is based on inductive reasoning:

This process is heading toward a time when your online identity corresponds directly to your personal ID. This will create a debate between at least two sides:

1. Privacy rights activists will argue that tech companies are complicit with the NSA and that we should fear totalitarianism and a police state's repression.

2. Others will argue that this verisimilitude between the online self and the material self provides for security and convenience.

On the one hand you have those that value freedom and on the other hand you have those that value convenience.
