What if we change the question to be about a human? Say if you onboard a new very promising team member and mentor them into success to the point he/she can take most of your tasks. Are you more or less valuable now?

If only there was a way to reject changes automatically based on some automations...

Sorry to be that guy, but the fact that it is built in Electron is not a "core feature". It does not benefit the end user in any way
Am I missing something? Why is there a need for a separate programming language for a use case like this? Don't we have enough programming languages to get by? Why a library wouldn't suffice?

It just does not seem reasonable to me to dump an ecosystem built by an established programming language to solve a domain problem

The benefit for me would be quick, isolated development environments. I want to boot a contained swarm of services connected to each other in a single command, and shut them down in a single command as well
This is great, is it possible to make it work with Docker?

Edit: Yes, it is.

Edit2: It is possible, but whether is it worth it or not is still a question. xhyve is a supervisor after all, you still need to boot a vm to use Docker. So if you like me, thought for a second that this can make containers in OSX a reality, don't get excited too early.

this is the exact opposite of WINE, implements linux sys calls in windows

Imagine these batteries in Teslas, that will mean a full charge in about ~10 minutes, which could potentially make all gasoline cars lame.
Re:Flux Application Architecture on Friday May 09, 2014 @07:44AM (#7720307)
This architecture describes how data affects presentation and vice versa. Your question is a bit off, it involves implementation, not structure.

Re:Where are the hacker news on Hacker news? on Thursday February 20, 2014 @04:12AM (#7269779)
Since the content is promoted by the users, Hacker News is what the majority of its readers wants it to be.

People that are interested in pure hacking stuff already found better sources, like good subreddits.

- there's a learning curve - that problem was solved a long time ago by putting the most important buttons on the wheel. - the car screens are not as big as the iPad, at the moment you put all your 5 fingers, you might occupy the whole area, and you won't have anywhere to scroll

given all that, that video proposes a new approach, not a solution.
