I cannot imagine 1500+ employees "working" on this. Wtf, it's a single person project.
I watched the video. Should I be impressed, no emotions here? Is this a hard technical problem overcomed and demo-d?
That's an user problem, isn't it? Why a niche site owner consider caring about proprietary Ubiquiti systems?
Look at Xmos, founded by a transputers-dad. Small uCs, that can be connected together into a massive cluster, while being first-citizen of their xC language.
Ha, so there is an amazing Swiss startup (that took some wrong steps), KA-EX. They make an isotonic drink (btw Isostar is/was also Swiss), and my personal sample and annecdotal news from my friends, well it works (worked). Super easy recovery, hangover cure too. But lately they moved onto drinks with Caffeine added, stopped their original product, and it's not as effective. But well, there are some Swiss startups doing just fine.
Is it easy? To be a self-employed, aka a "founder" I need to have (provable) 3 paying customers in Switzerland. Not easy.
This comment highly resonates with me. I strongly believe coding by hand (defined as an act of writing computer code in some programming language) is moreless obsolete. I.e. my skill to implement dijkstra or quicksort in 10 minutes at 1am in 10 different languages while being hangover/drunk is absolutely worthless now.
Software Engineering itself is more than just coding, the creative (and well engineering) part is still there.
It's made for viewing 70mm IMAX /s
Oh, it's some different AT protocol (some distributed mambojambo) than Hayes AT protocol.
Or you know what, just use built-in dictation. MacOS would be the last platform where I vibe-build my dictation-app for.
That would be oddly precise. More like "up to 50", or depending on speaker, "up to 100". /s
Don't forget that US prices usually do not include the VAT, while EU prices usually do include respective VAT.
New Tamron lenses have built-in usb-c port close to the lens mount. The utility just replicates what official Windows/Mac software does - not much, configuration of focus-by-wire, corrections, button functions.
503. Serving websites is a solved problem since 30 years. Even RPi powered via GPIO pins should be able to serve that website... /s
> Not a backdoor, but a documented CPU feature.
I would be even more explicit and call it “Not a backdoor, but a documented feature of ancient de facto unused Via C3 CPU.”
What is special about this? Does it cost $20? Is it a cheap smart phone (why do they call it a hybrid phone?) targetting India (mentioning of cricket)?
Someone had an idea, neat idea, but solved 10 years ago already.
Edit: GPT-5.5 says: "The hidden text is “HAPPY HUMAN.”
The outlined decoy text is “SORRY ROBOT.” Blurring or viewing it from farther away reveals the hidden message."
Is it encryption, or is it a synthetic language? If latter, then I had this idea 3 months ago [0]... Stop talking to GPTs in human languages, use a synthetic more optimal language, that is rendered by "frontend GPT".

Wanna kill some time? Enjoy terminal based game with rules of Threes, with alpha-beta based bot.No need to use your phone, just your terminal:
`cargo install threes-with-bot`, `threes-with-bot --bot-opponent ab`
Any examples of bigger and practical projects written in hica?
All of it. AI is magnificent in hands of a skilled coder. And absolutely crap in hands of someone who has no clue how computers work.
Maybe it's their business model? Sell to bunch of people and hook them in, then "get hacked", whoops sorry.
Edit: honestly I'm flagging this post. This really looks like fishing for customers to make them vulnerable in future.
Pinky promise? How do you prove that what I download from you is actually what you promise you've build (and that SBOM is right)? Is this certified with some digital signature?
From my threat attack model, you're just yet another liability - one single service to hack all your "safe" images.
> just without vulnerabilities
You surely mean "without known and reported vulnerabilities". I doubt you're proactively fixing the world across thousands of software packages /s
I truly don't get this. What is the security policy here? Why should I trust images built by minimus.io? How do I know they don't contain malicious software? What's the point?
A) How is it related? B) I cannot just in my phone select caller ID I want, "phones in Poland allow to call you 'from'" is not true. It's just spoofing as in anywhere else and requires non-trivial technical knowledge.

I'm a Lightroom user since 1.0, but I don't have a Mac anymore, and using it in Windows VM is a pain. Over the years I've developed my specific workflow for reviewing images (multi-pass, rate 0/1, filter >1, rate 1/2, filter >2, repeat) that allows me to cull pictures extremely efficiently. My usage of Lightroom is mostly just applying film emulations, reviewing, and exporting in specific...
It's kinda awesome, the DDR prices will go extremely down (lower than before the bubble), and it will be spring time for self-hosted opensource models, cause people will be able to afford the hardware. We just need to wait for the peak.
Seems the driver is DDR5 memory, DDR4 servers are not affected from my quick look.
Seems like it doesn't apply to older machines, I have AX41-NVMe, it's not on the list, I also didn't get any notification from them (and they usually send some) - no need to panic if you're longterm customer.
