Get a Russian speaking nanny or Russian daycare. There got to be those where ever community is large enough.

That Wrigley Field, for those not from Chicago.
AutoSleep app does a decent job of retrofiting sleep tracking into the apple watch. With a data lockin, I have an Aria scale, and Sync Solver is good at extracting Fitbit data into the HealthKit.

Damn you. Life was much better before we knew about "The Game".

Congratulations to Art. Great job!
Would be curious how contractors respond to using Acunote. You may need to explain to them that tasks are like a punchlist.

Use AmEx.
That Mac should have a black and white screen. Anybody cares to come up with plausible reason how come in photos looks to be color?

C-a F will resize screen window to size of your terminal.
Not American Express either.
Re:IPhone 4S: A5 chip, 8MP camera, and Siri voice recognition on Tuesday October 04, 2011 @04:37PM (#3072806)
Really, they let me upgrade from 3G to 3GS to 4. And I waited to get 3G few month after it originally came out.

See this article on from 2009: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-10266781-37.html

update: Based on my recollection, with 3G and 3GS, AT&T only asked for 1 year contract, not two. When new iPhone was released, sometime in June or July, anybody with contact renewal through October was marked as elegible to sign new contract, and received contract pricing on the newly released model if iPhone.

Re:IPhone 4S: A5 chip, 8MP camera, and Siri voice recognition on Tuesday October 04, 2011 @03:58PM (#3072640)
AT&T has consistently let it's best customers upgrade to new iPhone releases without enforcing the contract -- charging subsidized prices to upgrade to newer iPhone models. Will Sprint and Verizon done the same, or is switching to Sprint now will commit one to sit out next iPhone?
Re:Apple's 'Let's Talk iPhone' keynote liveblog on Tuesday October 04, 2011 @02:20PM (#3072147)
Think Sprint may still be able to sell that big chunk of phones they committed themselves to. I can definitely see going back to Sprint, if they get reasonable roaming deals, particularly on international data.

This has a pretty decent, if dated list: http://sql-info.de/mysql/gotchas.html

Few of the items on that list bit me personally.

As a new Mac convert, why would one use this, instead of VirtualBox?
Re:Deft -- easy note taking for Emacs on Sunday September 11, 2011 @10:57PM (#2985660)
I appreciate you creating simplenote.el. I understand disagreeing with direction platform taken, particularly if you are personally unable to take advantage of it.

As far as forking, would you consider merging in tag support into your version, if someone were to send you a patch?

Re:Deft -- easy note taking for Emacs on Saturday September 10, 2011 @11:26PM (#2983105)
But that does not run in Emacs
Re:Deft -- easy note taking for Emacs on Saturday September 10, 2011 @07:31PM (#2982786)
I use https://github.com/cefstat/simplenote.el to synchronize with simplenote service and on mobile device and Notational Velocity.

Deft seems little more refined, and simplenote.el has not been updated for a while, but would be nice if it synced with simplenote.

Wow, turns out the expired groupons I have sitting around are worth something. Thanks.
Re:Airbnb Nightmare: No End In Sight on Friday July 29, 2011 @11:30AM (#2822294)
That's actually fairly easy. Host should declare coverage limits. Does not make sense to artificially lower the limits, since insurance will not pay for what's not declared. Thinking somewhat similar to insurance that FedEx and UPS are happy to sell.
Re:OS X Lion Now Available in the US Mac App Store on Wednesday July 20, 2011 @12:39PM (#2786370)
Can't say, I am recent OS X convert. Took me a second to figure out why all the stuff I installed with brew stopped working. Turned out git somehow got uninstalled/disabled, and brew relies on being able to find gcc in the path, and it was no longer there. Updated to newer XCode to get gcc back, and all is happy.
Re:OS X Lion Now Available in the US Mac App Store on Wednesday July 20, 2011 @12:05PM (#2786181)
What is worth mentioning, if you had an earlier version of XCode installed, upgrade to Lion breaks it.
