Already running on ECS, so sounds like k8s will be a breeze!

If you had just convinced your CEO you need to hire a contractor to implement k8s on EC2 for your startup, what would you do now?

ugh, this new breed of programmers-but-not-computer-scientists make me shudder
Sorry I can't contribute more, this needs to be a quick message; but I recommend that you take a look at substack/tape⁰ for testing in JS; browser and server side. It forces you to write 'simple' tests; the likes of Mocha give you too much fluff, and use globals (i.e. magic).

Re:Ask HN: What printer do you use? on Saturday October 01, 2016 @07:18PM (#12620334)
I don't print that often, and very, very rarely do I need to print in colour if so, so I have the Samsung ML-1660. A few years old, but the line of products I would definitely recommend. There are colour versions too.

Ask HN: What's the best way to plan my day?

I'm the type of person who needs to play their day hour-by-hour in order to get anything productive done. Are there any recommended tools for getting this done? I use Google Calendar for longer term planning, but I want something akin to a 24 hour wall chart, every single day.
