Thank you for the feedback!

Hello, Yes, I am asking you for your unyieldingly honest and critical feedback that the internet and this community is such a great resource for.

I’ve been working on a side project for the past year - a “book” that I’d like to complete and publish to the world (for free on the internet). Before then, I would like as much feedback as I can get in order to revise.

This “book” is a coloring book about math that is both digital and on paper. Web version: http://coloring-book.co Printable PDF: http://coloring-book.co/book.pdf

On paper, the reader can color in patterns that help illustrate the mathematical concepts presented. The web version brings these illustrations to live in interactive animations.

Your critical, constructive feedback about anything ranging from writing nitpicks to design or content structure, or anything in between would be so appreciated!

Please comment away or email me at [email protected] or leave feedback in this form: http://coloring-book.co/form

THANK YOU FOR YOUR BRUTAL HONESTY <3

Yes -- Fixed! Thanks for pointing that out!

(author here) Thanks for the feedback. The idea was to mimic flipping through the pages of a book.

some of those things are on the book's Theory Reference page, which is linked to be some of the underlined concepts in the book: http://www.coloring-book.co/#!/theory-reference

Yes the motivation was crystallography and giving a small amount of group theory background was about providing the groundwork for talking about it.

I wish I had had an earlier consultation from an insect specialist. Thank you for catching that!

I'd really like ideas for how to better frame what this book is! The title and how I talk about it can also be considered a work in progress. Please do share your ideas :)

It's not intentional

Great! Let's chat. [email protected]

It's great to hear that from you! I'd really like to get this in the hands of HS students. Please have your wife reach out to me! [email protected]

(I'm the author) I've really been struggling with how to frame it! It has group theory concepts but is really about symmetry and other parts of math. I'm looking for ideas of how to talk about it and frame it -- please share your thoughts!

It's still a work in progress so it's not yet published, but it will be by the end of the year! Thanks for asking! Until then you can print the PDF for free or play online: http://coloring-book.co/book.pdf

Love Bot 2000 is disrupting dating and automating the creation of lifelong connections via the twittersphere. It crawls the tweets of celebrities like Neil Degrasse Tyson, finds people that retweeted their same tweet and are geographically near each other, and then relentlessly tweets intros @ these potential soul mates. This bot instigates love for people, regardless of whether they're searching for it, separated in age by 50 years, or are in committed relationships.

(This is a Twitter bot: https://twitter.com/lovebot_2000)

So this is fun.. who are other celebrities that the L0v3 Bot should crawl the twitter feeds of to find "matches"? Tell me your ideas as well as ideas for witty intros to tweet at these "matches".

You can also make a PR and contribute! https://github.com/aberke/love-bot

It would be funny if celebrities actually enjoyed this and "applied" via the form on the website http://l0v3bot.com/
