Limited | Operations Lead, Software Engineer | New York City or REMOTE |
https://www.limited.coWe're building the marketplace for all limited sales on the internet. We launched in a small niche (artisan keycaps) where one of our sales types is common and have seen massive growth over our first month. We are looking for a scrappy operations lead to help scale seller acquisition, launch new categories, and streamline our current processes. We're also hiring software engineers across the stack. We've raised a large seed round and compensate our team competitively.
If interested please reach out to [email protected] or apply here: https://jobs.wrk.xyz/limited/23134
I wonder if the many commenters here saying things like "If you being employed loses the company money you should be fired" would say the same thing in the case of Colin Kaepernick. Not passing judgement either way, just curious.
Could you help move sellers from ebay?

This is the direction that serenade.ai is headed. Been using it since they launched and they've slowly been getting closer to a general natural language to code engine. Would recommend anybody check it out if you haven't before

I also have severe carpal tunnel and am interested in how this might be able to impact that? Do you have any patients who have used this for that purpose?

Fair point. Just throwing this out there as a cool alternative.

I came across fruitionsite.com which is an open source implementation, but it seems a bit different. It appears that they're simply re-writing traffic and not actually hosting the site themselves.Does anybody have any guesses as to how Super.so (or similar) is implemented?
why do humans do this sort of thing?
I think this sort of thing is a lot more valuable for internship or new grad searches where candidates might apply to 50+ roles at once. I know of a similar job application crm that focuses just on those roles.
I think there's definitely a need for this and have thought about building something similar myself. I think one thing that is crucial which I don't see mentioned in any of your pricing plans is the ability to self host. You could dockerize your application and make it super easy for creators to set it up on their own infra. Otherwise they still have a large platform risk, they've just shifted it from youtube to your company.
I'm working on this. Will post on hn soon.
What brokerages do currently work with?
Being able to manage users directly from Airtable is intriguing. For me I would like to be able to use it with
https://clerk.dev. I wonder if this is currently possible actually since all clerk needs is to be able to wrap a react entry point? What would i actually get if i export a site from WeWeb
This is really cool, congrats on the launch! Is there any way to add authentication currently?
Very cool project. How do you plan to monetize it? I don't see mention on the site
What is the limiting factor though? Do they not eat out more because they don't have time to travel to the restaurant, or because they can't/don't want to pay for it? Seems to me like the bigger chunk of that 40% would fall into the second category, especially when talking about higher end experiences.
I'm curious, what makes the mobile app easier to monetize than their mobile web version? I get that push notifications can help bring people back, but other than that what benefit do they get by forcing people from web to native?
How close are you to adding billing to this? And do you have a public road map anywhere?
Even if that were to happen, aren't users insured up to $500k?
Nice, i was wandering why the fork bomb didn't give a time out message, but that makes sense.
Are you using websockets to broadcast realtime updates to the clients, as one types, or do you have some other way to achieve that?
How are you handling timeouts and forks? The following to snippets have different results:
#include <stdio.h>
int main() {
while(1){
fork();
}
return 1;
}
#include <stdio.h>
int main() {
while(1){
}
return 1;
}
The second snippet times out properly, but the first does not.
Pretty cool side project. Are you using Judge0 for code execution?
