Show HN: SemanticTest – Test AI agents with semantic validation (open source)

https://www.semantictest.dev

Hey everyone!I've been building AI agents lately and kept running into the same problem: how do you test AI Agents?I find that manually prompting the Agent for each release is tedious and not scalable. Also, existing solutions for testing agents are often complex to integrate. To help with this I built a simple open-source testing framework that uses AI to validate AI: you define expected...

Hey everyone, I just made it simpler to understand the library by creating a landing page www.semantictest.dev and proper documentation: docs.semantictest.dev.

Show HN: Open-source testing framework for AI agents with semantic validation

https://github.com/blade47/semantic-test

Hey HN!I built SemanticTest while working on calendar0.app (an AI calendar assistant). While I was building the AI assistant, I noticed a lack on good AI Evals frameworks that would help me test my agent.SemanticTest uses GPT-4 as a judge to evaluate:- Text responses (semantic meaning)- Tool calls (correct tools, right order)- Multi-turn conversationsIt's composable: you build tests as JSON...

Show HN: I cut my Claude API bill by 66% with Git-based context

https://www.shadowgit.com

Hey HN,I built ShadowGit a while back to automatically commit code every minute to a hidden git repo (.shadowgit.git). Original goal was to easily rollback when AI tools break things. But I discovered something interesting: this minute-by-minute history is perfect context for AI assistants. So I built an MCP server that lets Claude/Cursor query this history using native git commands. The results...

Show HN: Automatic local Git snapshots while you code (macOS)

https://www.shadowgit.com/

Hi HN,I got tired of making messy "just in case" commits every time AI or a big refactor might break my code. So I built ShadowGit: a macOS app that quietly creates local Git snapshots in the background. No manual commits, no cluttered history, just instant local restore points. It's free to download and use during early access and I'd really love your honest feedback.Happy to answer anything...

Hi HN,

I figured that maybe I can introduce myself a little.

I’m a software developer who recently wrapped up a 3-year journey building a full-featured SaaS for academic conference management. I bootstrapped it while working full-time, eventually quit my 6-figure job to finish it, and launched it this past June.

The product worked, but the market didn’t respond. Rejections came fast: no certifications (SOC2, PCI), too many well-funded competitors, and no real differentiator. It was hard to take in after years of effort.

Now, I’ve pivoted to micro-SaaS: smaller, focused tools with faster feedback loops and lower risk. Elara is my first one.

Appreciate a lot your feedback, thank you!

Show HN: I automated code security to help vibe coders from getting busted

https://www.elara-app.ai

Hi HN!I’m the developer of Elara, a tool that automatically scans your code for security issues like misconfigurations, secrets, and risky packages, so you can focus on building without stressing about all this stuff. It’s designed to be simple and fast.I see so many people launching products online without even knowing what security risks they might have. If you’re a developer or into tech,...
