My (Novel?) Theory of the Universe
Building on the simulation theory – I was pondering the question of 'why' a higher order being (HoB) would simulate a universe like ours (or multiple).My theory is that this being is in the same predicament as us: they would like to understand the nature of their own universe and where they came from. From their more advanced technological position, they are attempting to solve this challenge...

Might not seem critical for today’s needs... but it’s more about enabling future use cases which may not even exist yet. Think super high res VR streaming, etc

You could still use the normal way for edge cases, if that's what you mean. I'm not sure adding a new breakpoint would be much less work the old way?
