Does a thumbnail have enough information to support your search? I’m curious because i would think you need the full transcript of the video for something like this.

Curious, how fast the AI providers re-index a page after you make a change? Do you see the results in the next model update, or do they try to use more realtime data by making their agent fetching the website every time?

“Flexible” would work if Amazon prioritized moving people around when the priorities change instead of laying off and rehiring.
You can easily call the typical Japanese life-long employees as “flexible” or “generalist” but not an employee of a company with median tenure rate of 1-2 years. That’s fungible.
Re:Using OR-Tools CP-SAT for Scheduling Problems
on Wednesday May 13, 2026 @09:28AM (#48121654)
You may have tried this already but often times systems require things to be sticky (ex: to increase caching efficiency) and that usually helps solving large problems since most solvers accept "hints" or "warm starts". CP-SAT does a great job accepting hints and cuts down the search time significantly if the hint is good.

You miss the point that this is not about AI in the first place

It seems X's Grok became the first large LLM provider to weaken the content moderation rules. If people don't react enough, we will likely lose the first line of defense for keeping AI safe for anyone. Large providers need to act responsibly as the barrier of entry is practically 0.

Great list, thank you. The only thing to note is that whenever I imported a large list like this in the past, I always stopped checking my RSS reader after a while because the content wasn't interesting. I think finding RSS/adding it to a reader should happen organically over time.

I would guess they do it because they want to minimize the chance that someone will install an unapproved app to someone’s phone and cause harm. I know it’s already pretty hard but Apple seems to be very particular when it comes to this.

It's not that they can't afford a $3 toothpaste, it is the environment they are in that makes it hard to prioritize things like this. It is the education and the overall life quality (or the lack there of) that causes this problem.

Re:Nvidia bets on robotics to drive future growth

I just finished reading Daron Acemoglu and Simon Johnson’s book “Power and Progress” where they talk about how the leaders in the technology space is (unfortunately) able to set the direction of the technology according to their goals, not humanity’s goals. This is an excellent example of such power. NVIDIA wants to expand its business and pushes the industry to use more and more AI, which highly depends on their cards. Now all the VCs put billions of dollars towards this goal, thousands of Phds spend all their time, and companies change direction of business to catch the AI hype. Not necessarily because we decided this is the best for humanity, just because it’s the best for NVIDIA.

People seem pissed in that Reddit thread, kind of shocking for them to take such a big risk and say “we don’t discriminate based on geopolitical issues”. Yandex is clearly not an independent startup in Russia.
