Perhaps because in all following hacks none of Ethereum members as a whole participated unlike DAO incident.

Code is the clay with the mathematical precision - the best analogy.
Re:A quick look at zero-knowledge proofs on Tuesday August 25, 2026 @10:01AM (#49434308)
You can. For example for verifying enough funds the immigration office could ask the bank itself. But it also adds additional problem, such that without users concern they can do anything. Even if it’s solved with papers and users signature it’s more slower. With zk proof you can optimize immigration from third world country to the first world country with a single online application.

Or you can make it for remote programming job. Create a zk proof of codes he has worked on. And apply to HR so hr doesnt have to waste time on due diligence or mess with nda to look at private code base, few devs have public code. Zk makes, cross institute as an online service more efficient.

I think they know it’s not soon as they promise so they lie openly.
Re:Nobody Knows Anything on Sunday August 16, 2026 @11:47PM (#49326370)
Disagree. I got other opinion. People make some unique things as a team. As co-founders. So chat between them and even if it’s slightly others’ advice helps. Why other advices are not working is that they don’t know nothing not anything. It’s like why psychology advices on internet doesnt work. Or why just complaining your work issue to a lawyer doesnt fix the problem.

Most people have no time or interest in knowing more so their advice becomes useless. But if they listen more and get to know its nuances they can give a valuable lesson. Even better you can delegate some parts to them.

It doesn’t work on the mobile phones yet. Could you look at it? I use iPhone 14

But it’s not working that way, there is a third party like attestation that provides the data to client to generate zk proof

What if I don't use customizations at all, bare prompt per feature or function only? Do those customizations help?
Re:What AI did to stackoverflow in a graph on Saturday July 18, 2026 @08:12AM (#48957393)
When an ecological shoes company pivot to AI, I wonder why StackOverflow executives don't pilot for AI now.
For false positives, how about generating the test units and run it in isolation? All major languages have the interpreters or embedded languages to execute function only.
Re:We put a Redis server inside our runtime on Saturday July 04, 2026 @01:45AM (#48782932)
Programming is a craft. People like to write things, so you have plenty of solutions: programming languages, frameworks, game engines and more this kind of tool.

It’s not bad that they port redis into code. It’s not good thing neither. I’m just worried will they maintain it, did they think about further development that it will take their time, money and energy.

Is it happening in the popular repos?

Ask HN: Is the idea of CascadeFund clear and interesting? (early landing page)

Hi, all! I’m Medet Ahmetson. Currently, working on CascadeFund, a nonprofit concept that explores a new way for internet. Initially starting as the PR/monetization platform for the open-source maintainers.Right now it’s just a landing page explaining the idea, and concept. Aiming to launch — I’m trying to find out whether the message is clear, or if the concept even resonates with...
