Can you elaborate on "linter means and verifiable rewards for RL"? Is this something others would find extremely difficult to do ?

Ask HN: How do companies like OpenAI, Perplexity fine tune rich output?

I see fine tune as one of the major ways companies like OpenAI, Perplexity, Claude companies differ when it comes to provide higher quality of answers (correct me if I am wrong). One curious question is how do they fine tune rich data (markdown, html outputs, tables, graphs etc) at scale. Currently, performing fine tuning involves the laborious process of carefully editing inputs (prompts) and...

Show HN: ProductBeaver - Product Listing Made EffortlessMy cofounder and I recently ran into a problem for a different idea we were working on. While preparing catalogue for the items to be uploaded for our website/app, there was a lot of data which we had to manually add and the effort took days. We were mostly doing the data dump in CSVs and manually coming up with the descriptions. Using...

Does it make sense to build a review system baked with token incentives?

Some pros I see:

- Incentivizes more people to participate

- A way to signal on chain reputation

- Programmable distribution (based on smart contract) that could be goverened by token holders

That's a fair observation but do you think the problem is that incentives were not designed properly for the system to flourish. I mean, right now the incentives on Amazon are not technically incentives. You are straight up paid for a review or you hire your friends/family to do the same. If you can clearly incentivize good behavior, maybe everyone could make money and the system will still be less fraud prone.

Ask HN: Is bias always intentional?

On one hand, if you have a bias against someone or something, it could be seen as intentional or a bad attribute. But, it could also be a one sided opinion that becomes harder to reject with time?

What I try to do -

- Start with the easiest thing. Like opening your laptop.(That triggers the thought process).

- Start writing down your thoughts. (Helps if you don't know where to start).

- Background Task. (Just start listening to some music, yt video)

Ask HN: Token incentive system to fix fake reviews

I wonder if there is a way we can build a token staking mechanism around how people review a product (or almost anything online). Right now, it's kind of weird that you almost get nothing as an incentive for reviewing a product which means you cannot efficiently weigh one person's review from another. A token incentive system that keeps building your reputation over time can lead to a much...
