News for hackers. Stuff that matters.

I’ve shipped several SaaS products, and the largest problem has always been the same…marketing. This pain point has become even worse due to the ease of building products with AI. But now, because of AI, we can simplify the marketing process and include it in the build pipeline. I call this process Continuous Advertising/Continuous Marketing or CA/CM.

Much like CI/CD, MarketMee watches for GitHub pushes, scans your code changes, and automatically generates videos or images. It then creates and schedules a post for each social media platform you choose. Now your marketing runs on autopilot, just like your releases.

MarketMee uses AI to analyze your code changes

It gets a feel for what the UI looks like from the code

From the code changes, it creates a composition which is rendered frame by frame in headless Chromium.

We use ElevenLabs for the music and the VoiceOver

We then run the video/image through agents which review and report any issues they find.

Then, after however many passes are necessary, the video is created

Autopilot runs on a schedule. Either every push, daily, or weekly.

Putting [mkt] in a commit message makes a video just for that commit

Putting [mkt image] in a commit message makes an image just for that commit

I have set different measures in place to ensure the quality of the videos and images. For example, each piece of content goes through multiple review phases until it's considered good enough to post publicly.

You can also review and edit content before it's released. The schedule for when content is released is completely up to you.

All the media content that is on the home page of marketmee.app was generated using MarketMee. Every video and image.

I'm really excited to finally release this, and it's been something I've been using that's been very helpful, because now I don't have to think about marketing.

You can post to most of the largest social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.

You can try for free by creating one video and three images.

Interested in hearing your thoughts!

What are your thoughts?
Anyone else had any cool travel stories because of an app?
Re:Ireland was WAY beyond my expectations. Why you have to go on Wednesday October 28, 2020 @09:55PM (#24926250)
Who else has been to Ireland or has any cool stories from anywhere in the world?
What's everyone's thoughts on this article?
Yeah, you bring up some very good points. Thanks for sharing. And I agree with your statements.

I mentioned that disclaimer at the bottom of the article actually specifically because of React Native.

I've found that many of the pain points that have existed within other cross-platform tools such as Ionic have been fixed or at least subsided with React Native.

In the validation phase. We're talking pre-funding, while working on the MVP. Would you say that building for two platforms affects time to iterate? Did this cause any issues when using React Native?

What's your thoughts? What do you think about cross-platform vs native?
Interesting, so you feel like this is not a good model to follow?

What would you say are good methods of promoting an app?

Re:Three great books you must read for your startup's success on Saturday October 10, 2020 @02:48PM (#24740982)
Are there any other books that you feel are must reads for Startup owners?
Wanted to share some valuable advice I've picked up from working with 6 startups and reading various books. Hopefully this is able to help some people.
Re:Working on a new app to make learning things easier on Wednesday July 22, 2020 @03:44PM (#23920787)
Hey guys! I'm developing this application for iOS it's called Easy Remember: Forget Nothing. The premise of the application is basically a way to make it easier to remember things through the use of Push Notifications.

The premise is simple, you create a card based off of some information that you want to remember, and then the application will send you interactive push notifications somewhat in the form of Flashcards with the concept of either the front or the back being hidden until you want to see the other side.

The other piece of functionality is the app is equipped with an eBook and PDF reader that you can use to import books and then either translate foreign language content into various languages, or simply create cards based off the content that you're reading.

I would really love to hear your thoughts of the app and any recommendations that you have. Please be brutally honest. If you don't like the app, let me know. If you like it but you feel it needs improvements let me know. If you like it but you wouldn't pay for it, let me know.

For those of you who want to test the app out I'm giving you a premium subscription code that will allow you to test the full feature set for free.

How to use your personal coupon code...

The code is: premium2020

Using the coupon code is very simple. Simply download the app. Then click the Schedule button at the bottom of the page

Next click on the Blue Restore Purchases button.

Then enter your coupon code (premium2020) in the field that says Enter your coupon code or purchase id…

Lastly, click the 'Verify Id' button. And you’re done.

Thanks in Advance!
