TailScale uses WireGuard. Essentially an easy-to-use wrapper with some nice mesh networking capabilities. Quick to spin up. Easy to use.
If you've already installed WG, ZT, and OpenVPN you should know all this, I think.
I've always uses OpenVPN for both business (their Access Server product) and for my own homelab (CloudConnexa). Maybe I'm biased. Been using OpenVPN in one way for over 10 years.
CloudConnexa is the alternative from OpenVPN. 5 free seats. Built as a more traditional VPN, more bells and whistles, etc.
Good advice, in this age of just moving forward and onward, having the common courtesty here will not only save yourself, but also anyone else that needs to wade through everything....
Write code like a coworker you really like will maintain it.
Enter an IP with a CIDR prefix or subnet mask to get the network and broadcast address, usable host range, and wildcard mask.

You absolutely nailed it. It's not 'social' anymore. That's a mask of what it used to be - it's the coercion and manipulation by big tech and by advertisers (AND by 'influencers' who don't have the $$$ to advertise).
Super cool, I'm like 2 hours away from finishing the audiobook and it has been STELLAR (had to).
So thankful that people do this and chronicle this...our society is getting more and more isolated, it feels. This (I FEEL LIKE, could be wrong, I'm kinda a boomer now haha) was more common 'back in the day' and now some people do it as a social experiment.
Ah, thank you for this suggestion! Sorry about that.
ABSOLUTELY first thing that popped into my head, too.
Fantastic read.
OpenVPN Inc. | AI Platform Engineer | REMOTE | Full-time | $140,000 - $150,000 per year
Come work at OpenVPN! Yes, THE OpenVPN!
You'll own everything from developer tooling and internal AI workflows to cloud infrastructure and governance-defining standards, security, and cost controls from scratch.
If you want to build the AI layer for a real company (not just models, but the systems around them), this is a high-ownership position shaping how AI gets deployed, used, and scaled across the org.
We want to use AI to improve productivity and efficiency and make our employees even better. This role will shape the future of the company.

Might give this a whirl, not move business infrastructure here, but see how it works for my personal VPN server.
Company culture, training, resources. Sure, that costs money - but there isn't a direct correlation between spend this to prevent that.
Torn about this due to multiple factors...but I think the core reasoning remains: if it's a tool you like, there are actual people working on it, and if you want those actual people to stay employed and continue working on the tool, it's in your best interest to do things like donate and talk/share about them.
This was a great read. Thought-provoking.
I also struggle with this concept of how I personally enjoy my 'off' time versus if I were working on something else...
But this is a neat idea and I'm happy it sparked something for you.
So much has happened in the tech world because someone wrote at one point, "You can't do that"
My favorite part of our online world.
