Re:Is Facebook eavesdropping on phone conversations? on Wednesday May 25, 2016 @02:42AM (#11768051)
Yes.

(It's electronic communications, your assumption should be, without a doubt, that someone is listening, seeing, hearing.)

Anyone who uses Zapier for personal workflows - I am curious why use Zapier over IFTTT?

Note: this is NOT a challenge to why something like Zapier exists for business, nor a comment directly on the new multi-step Zaps.

Re:How I Hacked Amazon’s $5 WiFi Button on Monday August 17, 2015 @03:32PM (#10075511)
A Pebble with Tasker could get you there (HTTP POST) or one of the integrations. Even IFTTT or DO. You could probably also even go with the Magic Form app described in the OP's article.

Making it context aware is possible too (e.g. in the bathroom or at work) with some thinking of Wifi routers or if you wanted NFC tags, iBeacons.

OSS isn't for just the contributors.
Awesome stuff! I did look and found some of your roadmap, but missed this. Can't wait to give it a go.
Looks really promising...but without an API you are missing one of the best parts of the what makes Cloud (SaaS) so great.
Re:Atlassian Valued at $3.3 Billion on Tuesday April 08, 2014 @03:16PM (#7555342)
This is not meant to sound challenging, I have used and, both loved and loathed, some JIRA setups. A lot of it might be implementation.

But as for the question, again not challenging, just curious:

What do you suggest as empowering, out-of-the-way, issue tracking software?

Re:Important Kickstarter Security Notice on Saturday February 15, 2014 @05:09PM (#7245615)
Couldn't agree with you more. They have no problem sending me emails about new campaigns or other activity on the site. I feel like a message about a possible security issue would have been a decent thing to do.
