Ask YC: Linux-VServer vs. Xen

It looks like Dreamhost is going to start providing what they are calling "Private servers" (http://www.dreamhostps.com) using Linux-VServer. Does anyone have thoughts on this approach vs. using Xen for virtual servers ala slicehost? (http://www.slicehost.com)

Re:Ask YC: Anyone using O'Reilly's Safari service? on Monday December 24, 2007 @12:28PM (#92444)

Ok, so maybe it's an ad or maybe it's a little interesting post and an update on his FogBugz tour which he has been posting about for months. At least he is consistent. And what is so antiquated about FogBugz? Have you ever used the software? It actually works quite well.

Re:Broadband in SF on Monday September 03, 2007 @12:57PM (#49713)
They are all horrible companies but Comcast is very fast and won't make you sign a year contract like some of the phone companies. On the other hand I had ATT in SF when I lived there and the service was fine. Speakeasy is good but a little bit more than Comcast if you bundle internet and cable.
Re:Don't break the chain - bug/feature request on Sunday September 02, 2007 @10:51AM (#49437)
Another nitpick...When you are logged in and go to the add-to-blog page, the js script statement points to Brett's chain instead of the currently logged in user.

Oh, and why don't you jump on the facebook app bandwagon. Could generate more publicity, and who does not like publicity...

A couple weeks in and I am still using the app every day.

I like it. One nitpick is that when you go to the login page the cursor does not default to the login field. This is kind of expected behavior.

Anyway, pretty useful little app. Thanks!

Edit: Feature added, rock on.
