I built a simple tool to download all their data a few month ago (
https://dogedownloadtool.pages.dev/). It uses their API and creates a CSV file for the user. It's interesting to do some data analysis with it.
Tool to download the data from Department of Government Efficiency using the official API.

Why do recruiters on LinkedIn contact me without disclosing key details such as the company's name, salary expectations, or specific information about the position?
japanese comics as a profile picture is always a red flag.
These pages should be served compressed anyways right? Then there will be no difference in size anymore.
Threads will probably switch from a blacklist to a whitelist soon.
This is possible if you are really slow in python
Why should he compare a random package that does not fit his use case to his custom solution?
No you just update the cell. React is extremely fast if you understand how rendering works. Avoid unnecessary rerendering of unchanged data.
A lot of people don't know how to use react. The author is one of them.
Every team in my company got the new meta headset for free. I used it for like 30 seconds and i've never seen anyone else using it.
These are all good ideas.
I'm careful with my login. I used my Google account with two-factor authentication to log in on booking. I never signed through one of their web pages. I also only use HTTPS.
It is a small independent hotel, not a chain so it seems a lot of work just for a review.
I contacted customer support again they flagged the review for their fraud/security team. They will get back to me.

I recently stayed in a hotel and on my way home I received an email from booking.com thanking me for a positive review. However, I was surprised because I never left a review and my account credentials were secure. The review was glowing and rated the hotel 10/10, leading me to believe that the hotel posted the review under my account. I contacted customer support, but they claimed it was...
Do you know of an up to date Elm course?
My employer bought a few VR headsets (from meta). I see them lying around in the office but no one ever used them.
Yes, most of these articles are written for SEO, not for humans, and are basically garbage.
I have to agree with you. I see this as a tendency for sites to start getting back to basics. Large frontend frameworks often cause more problems than they solve.
The speed of your web framework is, in reality, often irrelevant. Our slow nodejs app handles millions of customers with a few cheap and simple caching layers. Our salaries are a lot higher than the infrastructure costs.
I like this quote from 'The art of Unix Programming' published in 2003
"While it still makes sense to write system programs and time-critical kernels of applications in C or C++, the world has changed a great deal since these languages came to prominence in the 1980s. In 2003, processors are a thousand times faster, memories are a thousand times larger, and disks are a factor of ten thousand larger, for roughly constant dollars.
These plunging costs change the economics of programming in a fundamental way. Under most circumstances it no longer makes sense to try to be as sparing of machine resources as C permits. Instead, the economically optimal choice is to minimize debugging time and maximize the long-term maintainability of the code by human beings. Most sorts of implementation (including application prototyping) are therefore better served by the newer generation of interpreted and scripting languages. This transition exactly parallels the conditions that, last time around the wheel, led to the rise of C/C++ and the eclipse of assembler programming."
DuPont Circle is a nice place if you don't mind getting stabbed by homeless people from time to time.

Over the last few years, it got a lot harder to find quality content online. Many pages are more optimized for SEO than for humans, and advertisers have basically taken over Google’s front page.Do you think a search engine that only indexes about 100 handpicked websites with quality content could be useful (or already exists)?
I never liked 'Getting Things Done'. It's the most repetitive book I've ever read. It could be a 5-page article, but David Allen decided to write a ~300 pages book by repeating the same idea over and over.
Hotels in my city refuse Indian guests. They had to renovate rooms all the time after their visits. It was not worth it anymore. (Central Europe)
