Platform engineer with 7+ years in backend and cloud work, focused on failure handling: leases, reconciliation and race conditions. At Toyota I fixed concurrency bugs in Kafka ingestion workers and provisioned AWS with Terraform. Since January 2026 I've been building AetherGrid, an open-source AI workload orchestrator in Python, with 696 tests and 68 written design decisions. Recent work includes lease fencing against stale workers, CI that fails the build when container hardening regresses, and scoped API keys. I'm looking for fully remote platform, infrastructure, SRE or backend roles.
