This project is really cool its a shame you have to disable or partial disable SIP which can break some things.

I have been using Claude for the past couple of days this week to document and modify the TR2 game file format for an obscure Japanese-exclusive Wii game called And-Kensaku, or 安藤ケンサク. And-Kensaku is a game related to Googling. There are a few game modes, but the most famous one asks you a question and gives you two answer options, and you win if you choose the most popular Google search. I...
I went to Iowa State, and I am so glad I missed this shit, cause this is insane.

I graduated university in December 2022. After interning at my former company for about a year, I was hired full-time, working on federal healthcare contracts for the HHS. In August of this year, I was laid off after the federal government canceled all the contracts I was working on, and there were no other positions available for me. I had been at the company full-time for almost three years...

I would love to hear a reason why this is a good idea?
I agree with you. Maybe if it had AI shoehorned in, hn would be happy.
Cry me a fucking river OpenAI, as if your business model isn't entirely based on this exact same thing.
I previously had on of the major ISPs in my State/Region and it was aweful, they suck. Then a relatively new company came in and I switched and it was finally fiber and cable and it is amazing. Its not perfect these are companies at the end of the day. But if it weren't for this new company I would be forced by no competion not because of the service of the ISP.

So I'm a little late posting this here, but over the past three years, I have been working on what was formerly known as XBONEmu, a way to play Xbox One titles on a Windows computer. About a month ago, I decided to make this project more open; we now have a Discord server and are accepting contributions. Currently, we don't have any games that boot, but we are looking for people skilled in reverse engineering, Windows internals, and those with a strong C++ background.

So it looks like the Python GIL will be going away soon. Over the years there has been lots of discussion around this topic. Some people say that it is hard to get rid of the GIL. Why is that?
what do they do if there is like a school shooting?
Just in time for my trip to Japan.
I was looking into this and haven't seen much news of late. This would be an amazing product if widely available. Unfortunately knowing the current state of US pharmaceuticals, this would cost the price of your mortgage.

Anyone developing macOS, iOS, iPadOS, etc. are still using Objective C in there personal or work projects?
This is cool, I'm sure people will use this responsibly and not take advantage of this.

I'm sure but housing situation is out of control. Paying 2K a month for a 1 bedroom apartment where your roommates are mice and roaches.
Yes I do because there are so many starving and homeless people.
I love this project but it pisses me off that they lock services behind a paywall.

I wish some of the services weren't locked behind a paywall.
I know this isn't in academia but I had an abusive team lead that projected his own insecurities and personal life problems on me and the team. He would gaslight us and accuse of stuff based on what previous people had done. Also my supervisor was a right wing loon that would allow sexual harassment to take place and participate in it. We would force his political agendas on people. Thank god I got let go for budget reasons.
