If all or most of their submissions and comments are [dead], it is likely that it is done automatically. You need to enable show-dead to be able to see that, by visiting this: https://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=bryanrasmussen ... or if you log out and your comments disappear then you are likely shadow banned ... Anyone can add a fake business so that is not surprising... I added a walmart before where I wanted one... and it got built a year or so later. (to tell you the truth, they were voting on it in city council at the time and the anti-walmart crowd didn't like to see it on the map yet)

I changed my Google password, and overall, I received 6 security alerts because of it... I wish that Google would close some bugs too. They are also known for closing unfixed bugs though...
