And admittedly makes it part of the gameplay loop as well. You HAVE to get some of the bad endings to get the good endings

Really wish there was a link to the site they tried for every "dead" site, if only to see the goodbye notice that pages put up. Sites like "Our Incredible Journey" [1] really highlight just what happens to so many of these companies, but an unreachable domain is definitely not a main criteria to base a graveyard off of.

Yes definitely. I just followed the steps over at https://kindlemodding.org/ and got my Paperwhite running beautifully and with more customization than ever.
Seconding the recommendation for Apollo. It's definitely a shock to get used to at first, but it's so customizable that it reminds me a lot of RES if there was a mobile app version of it.

Stadia has not been cancelled, they just shuttered the internal development studios. The service itself is still alive and getting new games frequently.

Among Us comes to mind as something that could work for you as it's a free phone game and has a large lobby size (4-10 I believe).
Re:On responses to “Bye, Amazon” on Friday May 08, 2020 @11:08AM (#23115612)
While true, there's an alarming amount of products on eBay that are just drop-shipped from Amazon. By avoiding Amazon, you have to avoid eBay as well, at least in terms of buying items that are new.
For those that got confused like me, it's "Big O of N", not "Big Oof N"

If you want to test the waters instead of going with a full build at the start, pre-built ones are starting to pop up from popular brands, ex. https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/peripheral/keyboards/sk...
Mozilla does this with popular devices every year around the holidays.

Thank you for the Apollo recommendation! I was getting tired of the official Reddit app constantly changing the buttons under the posts.
Re:Ask HN: Recommend one book I need to read this summer? on Tuesday July 02, 2019 @08:33AM (#20334366)
Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup by John Carreyrou

The ride to the top and then rock bottom for Theranos is a wild one, and the author does a great job of not letting you put this book down once you start.

Re:Sony reveals PlayStation 5 details on Tuesday April 16, 2019 @11:09AM (#19674296)
Great to see we're finally getting an SSD by default in consoles. The only thing I'm worried about with this is the fact that high capacity SSDs are more expensive and with a push towards more digital storefronts, I'm wondering how this will work for the users. Then again, it's also a wonderful chance to push streaming, so there is that too.

I read this as "50 Shades of Dev" and got really confused.
