Re:Ask HN: What did you make during lockdown? on Sunday June 21, 2020 @01:27PM (#23593534)
What do you mean “learning how to make postcards the exact way I want them”?
What system and/or application(s) do you use to help you remember things?
Re:Making of April Zero: Part 2 on Thursday August 07, 2014 @05:12PM (#8150154)
Would be nice to have some sort of link back to the article just to confirm the two.

Also weird I put in my email and the page just scrolled down and revealed some aviation manuals. No indication if it "worked" or not.

You can try them out in the effects tab for 5 minutes at a time without paying.

When this has happened to me, there generally is an error saying in the Javascript console saying the file is too big.
Links to those services would be great as well.

"Return the pack on your journey back or keep it & we'll bill you the difference."

Re:Topcoat – CSS for clean and fast web apps on Tuesday May 28, 2013 @11:30PM (#5784415)
I'm 22 and I have trouble reading the text. I don't even have glasses.
Or invites?
Seeing the screenshot (not having looked at the site or anything), the "see/edit this message" is pretty small. Everyone else isn't exaggerating when they say it is small.

I also think it's important to notice that the big, friendly button says "Agreed". "Agreed" doesn't lead me to think that it will send a message, just that I will vouch for them.

Nicely made.

Only thing I could suggest would making the headers sticky/fixed since there are so many rows.

Very detailed analysis of different grocery services. I love how the items that were selected with some additional information (freshest milk, ripe avocado, etc…).
All the codes have been redeemed.
Re:Decaf: Ruby in the Browser on Monday April 08, 2013 @04:40PM (#5514421)
Do other browsers support Ruby? I've never heard of this, but the line "if your browser supports Ruby, click here for a sample" implies that Decaf isn't alone in this.
I don't have a great understanding of Android, but what would make them choose to limit the app's current phone options to a handful?
