The future will be a lightweight headset integrating VR and AR, so that we can switch from one to the other easily, and even switch everything off.
With this headset, we won't have to carry anything else: no screen, no computer, no keyboard, etc.
We will even be able to share virtual contents with one another when needed.
We won't be isolated from the outside world.

Gnuplot, a perfect tool for datascience?
I'm a graduate student beginning Torch7 and Lua for training a convolutional neural network on a large number of images. During this process, I have to monitor some learning curves. Thereby I searched on google some libs able to plot easily many things (for instance covariance matrix). The only tool I found in torch was https://github.com/torch/gnuplotObviously gnuplot is crossplatform able to...

Re:Why I Quit OS X – Geoff Wozniak
on Saturday January 03, 2015 @10:15PM (#8833093)
I was about to quit OS X, because of problems like those :
- MacBook Pro fans -> rocket mode
- Mail app is not enough sync with my iPhone -> only 1 kind of flag available
- I'm working with dropbox, and when I want to use Pages on iCloud, I'm obliged to move my file in the special iCloud directory... so annoying
- When I edit some stuff on my Pages app, it's not possible for anybody to read/edit the file online (iCloud.com). Also the SaaS is really slow compare to Google Drive.
- Message app is not totally sync on my devices... I mean when I read a message on one device, it's still unread on an other...
- iTunes isn't so easy to use...
- safari isn't so cool compare to chrome or firefox
- right click "new file" DOESN'T EXIST
- etc.
Then I realized Linux, Ubuntu are not so sync either and have many other problems and Windows isn't an option.
Do we have the choice after all ? I'm still waiting for the futur OS 11 to fulfill my queries...
Google apps better than Apple apps?
Hello there,I am what we could call an apple addict. I have a mac mini with two monitors, a macbook pro, an iphone that I sync on iCloud and my parents too. I use a lot of app, Calendar, Contacts, Plans, ... because they work without internet and each devices can sync with iCloud at any moment. For instance I share my calendar with my parents and it's really convenient. But let's talk about...
