Why would you not want to fight nazis?
I'm am in awe of your ability to know what happens tomorrow.
Have we finally found a way to make female sports interesting?
Nah that cant be right. I trust the experts that said the thing that I feel is right and most convenient at the time.

Big of them
Well at least Biden doesnt support social media censorship /s
Not sure I agree with this due to the cause of the dip (willful) and the current inflation we're seeing.

I hope you're right.

Eh i wouldnt support a hard rule.

Likely I'd appeal to moms after I got the cool kids though, social media style.

The solution is to bring in more school marms?
Exactly. These countries put forth policy they cannot afford and are out-competed via taxation. Allowing them to express force on smaller countries in an effort to reduce their profits seems mind blowingly aggressive.

I guess its the kind of dumb policy we have to put up with until someone points out that those affected by this are likely 'minorities" in western societies and is therefore racist/bigoted. Its the only way to argue nowadays.

If the IRS knows how much money I owe why dont they just send me a bill?
So move it to countries not so authoritarian and interested in actually competing. Problem solved.
Are you saying since other people do bad things we shouldnt aim to design systems that put productive people first?

At least in these other, and we agree equally scummy cases, theres some run-off benefit we can assume given the higher levels of profit and/or related risk.

"...get rid of all police because some cops are dangerous and corrupt" because I said I've seen welfare do more harm than good? Geez, makes total sense.

To no ones surprise, or at least I hope not.
I am right.
Everyone of sound mind already knew this.
The age of evidence is behind us. It's all about expert opinion now, as you can infer from the other comments you've gotten.
I'm entirely dismissive of a worldview that is based on inherited guilt and various slants informed by soft sciences with known reproducibility issues.

I make no apologies for it. I will continue to assume everyone lives unique lives.

It's just the narrative slant of the era. Going to be super embarrassing as time goes on, just be sure to remember.
Eh we agree on the solution, but only if the problem isn't manufactured via welfare as it currently is.
Obvious that a lot of folks in the tech community did not grow up a poor Appalachian boy.

Welfare is a plague.

I know so many people who did not work because it would cut into their welfare.

I know so many homes that lived lies (separate fake addresses, never marrying) so they could get welfare.

I've seen welfare programs (wic, food stamps) exchanged for cash..

I've seen emergency rooms abused with medical cards (something most yuppies do not even know exists --- most do not seem to know most poor people already get free healthcare).

It's a sad thing. Reality on the privileged persons terms, I guess.

Jesus, this post makes me want to vote for Donald Trump.
You're not wrong.

I know the rules and any reader knows I'm commenting on the very obvious slant we're given. It's substantive to acknowledge when something is more era than merit.
Its humans behaving exactly as expected when given the choice against free money and working for money.

Haha I guessed racism. Man I'm like 10/10 at guessing the proposed american narratives lately.
Re:The True Story of the Minimum-Wage Fight on Thursday May 06, 2021 @07:53PM (#27070307)
Sorry, then make it one hundred.
Re:The True Story of the Minimum-Wage Fight on Thursday May 06, 2021 @06:28PM (#27069778)
I support a two hundred dollar an hour minimum wage. It simply just pulls the most people out of poverty in a direct way.
Re:Lumber mania is sweeping North America on Thursday May 06, 2021 @10:44AM (#27064000)
