The choice is between incompetent people and insane people. I can't choose for you.
Your choice.
True but if they were confident the Sterling was in bigger trouble than the dollar they wouldn't have invested in it.
What is your brilliant solution? Bring back to power PNL plus a (so called) right coalition? Put Traian Basescu as prime minister, the liberal that stole Romania's entire naval fleet? In my town PNL won and they make Trump look sane! They claim they will bring a Tesla factory! We have no infrastructure and Hungary is absorbing electric car projects like crazy! Even Trump's dumb wall idea to keep Mexicans out of the USA sounds sane by comparison!

"What Are Your New Years Resolutions or 2018 Goals?"
Too not have a new year resolution. I don't need the start of a new year to make goals that I am already working on. I enjoy being flexible and free.
However I am committed to learning every day.
I have a plan to keep track of and hopefully I will achieve my dreams one day.

I know this is no time to joke but your sarcasm did made me laught.
"Disclosure: My brother works at Google."
We all know who is getting fired today. grabs popcorn
Edit: Dupe already! Man do googlers on HN work fast.
Oh, boy, another series of layoffs and the rich getting richer.
"But my free market!!"
Means squat when the elite hoards all the goods and the barriers to entry are extremely high.
Yes but most of those services gain traction from the search engine. Google2 could quickly use FOSS code to integrate similar products to those that they would lose and even if they would be a MVP that would still do the trick. See what I mean ?
>theoretical fear
Profit is always the bottom line. Google isn't some humanitarian project. Get your head out of the clouds.
More than 90 % of its revenue comes from ads so I don't see a way they would be affected.
The only valuable brands are Youtube and the search engine(android could even operate as a nonprofit funded by Google). Progress but hardly a "win".
>Google has to do this to prevent trolls from doing it.
So you believe that a company as powerful as Google deserves more consolidated power.
No, thanks.I will stick with the possibility of getting sued by a troll than handing that power to Google.
Thanks, now I have to bookmark this.

I will have to read the article later but if this is true then I will have to say to Chrome those memorable words found in Terminator 2. Hasta la vista, baby.
"Cotroceni not Cotrocenii and Klaus not Claus"
I'd like to remind you that I'm not a bundle of CPU and memory working perfectly 24/7 and the same thing is true for you.
Moving on to important things.
"It's a well known fact that Cotroceni protesters are mostly poor and retired old people and they went there because they received some incentives"
You seem to forget that the coalition PSD + ALDE won by a majority and that we live in a representative democracy not a direct democracy.
You seem to forget that we live in a representative democracy. When the government was formed (PSD + ALDE) in January it won by a majority and there are no reasonable facts on why the government should resign.
I want to remind you that when the "Colective" horror happened the government resigned (PSD) but when a similar incident happened in the USA the president or any government official didn't resign.
If you think that we are more advanced than the american democracy then you sir ignore certain facts.

"He encouraged anti-corruption protests."
This executive order was talked about with ECHR and Italy had a similar project this has nothing to do with corruption.

"they won't give another executive order in the middle of the night when no one is looking ?"
It has become self evident to me that we need a Donald Trump so maybe our fellow Romanians get back into reality.
EDIT:
P.S. The echr source talks about the problem but discussion have taken place. Also i it find a bit alarming that the case creation rate has increased so unpredictably. I quote "Firstly, with regard to Hungary and Romania, for which the number of cases increased by
95% and 108% respectively in 2016". What does this suggest? I remaind you that 2016 was a year in which Iohannis's technocratic government ruled
I think its awkward in both positions but the protesters have objectives. The "Victoria" protesters want to see the government formed in January to resign and the "Cotrocenii" protesters want for President Claus Iohannis to resign.
Our president Claus Iohannis has started a war with the winning party PSD. He encouraged people to protest against PSD and now supporters of PSD are protesting against Iohannis. I'm ashamed by my country but hey it could be worse.

A better question would be: Why US carriers have overpriced data plans and/or outdated infrastructure when my third world country provides me with better price/performance that makes the Americans look like they are being ripped off?
7$ per month assures me of download speed 300mb/s 100mb/s upload speed and unlimited traffic on fiber.
Do you have better deals guys?
Unfortunately that hasn't been my experience in recent years. While Google and Bing have evolved enormously the internet is so bloated by clickbait website that I have come to rely on community curated content.
Quaero is a dead giveaway. Literally.
