*HackerNews, LinkedIn, Youtube, Reddit, IndianHacker, and Twitter I don't usually check my Facebook everyday. I felt like Facebook is too much for me.
I would spend it to have a perfect home office. 1. Probably for desk, an adjustable-height standing desk would be great so I can alternate my position throughout the day. 2. Customized chair that will suit any home color scheme. Everything from the headrest to the seat height and angle can be adjusted. 3. Accessories such as second monitor, cabinets, and a desk lamp.
I lived in SF with this salary way back 2010. My budget was fairly tight, but I have additional bills to pay. In a nutshell, I was getting by paycheck to paycheck and living okay without anything to save. Short-term, sure it can work, but it wasn't sustainable for me in the long term.

I'm currently reading the Product Management’s Sacred Seven based on a friend's recommendation that it was good for product management interview prep.

This book looked extremely think and daunting when it arrived.

Ask HN: Pursuing UX Design Career

Pursuing UX Design career but I wonder if what should I do next after working on my portfolio. I just completed my course online from Coursera and Springboard but I'm wondering if I should apply for an intern position first? or apply for the real Job?

This is really cool! It has a lot of potential in the market. Wish you the best of luck!
Definitely a great idea. I would love to see this discussion here.
Like less work, less earn but more work, more earn? Is that what you mean?
If you aren't taking any action to turn your life now, chances are you will live the same routine for the rest of your time.

I think getting a job would be great to get back on track. Don't have a degree? That's not a problem if you really want to learn. There are free resources/courses that you can try to gain more knowledge and skills.

I wish you luck!
