Re:Impossible food sues to cancel earlier trademark owners on Wednesday November 17, 2021 @11:35AM (#29255254)
Am I reading this wrong or do they just think they can steal the trademark because they're bigger? Now that I think about it, looks like they ripped off his logo too...
This is true of Korean American churches as well, with lunch, weddings, etc. It's an all-day affair and the center of the community where people meet, do business, etc. The younger generation is trickling away but it was a bedrock for the immigrant community.

You can do most of New Zealand in two-three weeks, the roads are great, and you will not get stuck anywhere.

Do it.

Kevin has come across publicly as a bit of a brat, but when he asked his friends to leave their jobs and join Milk, he promised them a certain return, even if it flopped and had to give them his own money.

I've always respected that.

Have lived in LA for 12 years, have lived walking distance from my job for all but one of them. Just takes planning, like anything else.
I suspect the biggest issue here is that whoever sold him the property talked those lands right up as a selling point and he's discovering the reality is more complicated

Could not believe the fucking smiley face. That's their attitude towards privacy.
There's something to be said for being in the right place at the right time, but they've done a great job of going above and beyond to embrace this moment. Great work.

I can't think of another industry in the world where veterans offer so much support to people trying to enter it. Very cool.

Ask HN: Restoring emails from a hacked Gmail account?

So my girlfriend's father's Gmail account was broken into by some enterprising young scammer. After going through the Gmail password recovery process, switching the language back to English, and emailing all his contacts an apology,(the scammer was trying to get his contacts to send Western Union money to "him" because he was stuck in "Scotland") I can't figure out how or if I can restore any...

Well like...I'm in this market, DanI, but I've never considered tai chi instructors because I figured they don't have the kind of margins that would make it worth my time.

You're absolutely right, though, that working with your mother would give someone like me standardized assets and procedures that could be resold with minimal work to other tai chi instructors.

I think a3camero might be overestimating the time it would take to accomplish something like this, but I admittedly had never considered that industry for the reason he mentioned, ie: the price of the services your mother is offering.
