News for hackers. Stuff that matters.

We need to research practical ways of solving it.

Unless the framework automatically does this, this will never stop. So many tech companies are really a guy who did a Udemy course or read a Dummies book.

I interned at a company that did 10 million a year with a website built with nothing but the w3schools tutorials. You could print the database from the login form as it was started by a guy who just read those tutorials.

We weren't allowed to fix it either as the owner didn't want a system he didn't understand.

For all you hacker types out there. I'm a software engineer who knows very little about security. Any good resources to learn it?

Currently my company just assumed that Spring handles all those issues for us.

As a buyer none of that is my problem. PayPal sucks for sellers, but because buyers want it, it is used.
Wells Fargo fraud only impacted foolish people who don't check their bank statements. If you did, you complain and the accounts go away.

Many banks were insolvent after 2008. The government fixed that.

Libor fixing us too complicated for most to understand and it mostly hurt you if you didn't ship around.

I'm fine with fraud as long as it mostly hurts those who can't be bothered. Still a happy client of Wells Fargo.

Wirecard has the problem of impacting diligent people who will actually take action against them.

Except learning isn't really the reason most go. It's to get a well paid job at the end of it.
