Google announced UCP (Universal Commerce Protocol) two days ago. I realized developers building AI shopping agents have no real merchant to test against, so I built one.

  Live sandbox: https://puddingheroes.com/api/ucp/

  What you can do:
  - Discovery endpoint at /.well-known/ucp.json
  - Browse 9 products (books, vacation rental, memberships, experiences)
  - Complete fake checkouts with payment_token: "sandbox_test"
  - Get a real PDF download for the free item (not a mock)

  curl https://puddingheroes.com/api/ucp/test

The products are from my actual business (sci-fi novel, Airbnb property, community membership) so it's realistic test data, not lorem ipsum.

Built with Flask. MIT licensed. PRs welcome.
Re:AI-Powered Disruption in the Resume Writing Industry on Saturday June 03, 2023 @11:53AM (#36177652)
The process of tailoring a resume for specific job postings has long been a pain point for job seekers. It's recommended by career counselors and professionals alike, yet it's an arduous and time-consuming task for many.

To address this, I've developed an AI-powered tool, BestResume.ai, with the intent of significantly simplifying this process. Drawing on the capabilities of advanced language models, it's designed to adapt resumes to align with particular job postings.

The early results have been promising, and I believe this tool has the potential to disrupt the traditional resume writing industry. We've even secured patents for our unique approach.

I'm curious to know the thoughts of the Hacker News community about this. How do you see AI influencing job application processes in the future, especially resume writing? Is there potential for major disruption in this field, or is it more likely to be an incremental change?

For those interested, I'm also looking for early feedback and testers to help refine the platform. If you're open to exploring this new tool, I'd appreciate your insights.

The stitching part is pretty fun, it adds another dimension to the experience. You can add on to other peoples pictures.
I'm thinking it might be nice for posting new content to Instagram too.

Trying to make experimental UI for group photo/chat. Help with app test-feedback?

My friend and I threw together Pic Thread, an iOS app, so friends can stitch images together and message each other. We call it a photo chat/stitching app. We're looking for people to give us feedback in Beta. So far we have a couple people who are "addicted," So it might be more interesting experience than typical messaging... What's your opinion? You can add your email at...
