Is this worth getting? Anyone know of a comparable offer or service? A little off normal topic but I want wifi for my ipad and I don't want a contract.

Is there a limit for how many calls my app can make an hour to the Facebook API?
Is that the only useful information I can pull in regards to what activities the user is interested in?

I'm new to Facebook API and I am building am app and I was wondering if there was a way to pull all the "likes" from a user?
Thanks for the advice! Checking my SQL is a really good idea, I really do need to reorganize the database.
I think part of the problem is we are loading embedded videos instead of thumbnails as it's taking about 17 seconds to load the page with 20 videos now. We have a semi basic machine through staminus.net, but I really want to get my own server that can handle 100,000+ users ay a time. I haven't considered having the load on another unburdened machine but that's a really good idea.
1. Yes
2. Yes
People submit data and it's displayed, 20 activities a time and if all of those activities are videos it is taking about 17 seconds to load
staminus.net for hosting and it's coded in php and mysql
watching videos (embedded from other sites), listening to music, uploading photos, and sharing data. Our test site is running so slow now and it only loads 20 activities at a time.

How many servers do I need to power a site with 100,000+ users online at once? Where would you recommended I purchase said server/severs from?
What about adding the traveler's insurance for an extra $50-$100 and getting 80% of your trip refunded?
I'm still tethering and haven't received an email. There is always going to be a way to out smart you AT&T!
I find that when I am depressed I do something that makes me belly laugh. Whether it's watch a comedy show or just go out with my friends. You need to be reminded of how it feels to be happy, even if just for a second.
On this "happy thought"you should pick up on your work where you left off. The more productive you are the better you will start to feel.
Become a techie. You don't have to be a programmer to be a techie, just stay up to date with tech news. YCombinator wants the companies in their incubators to employ a wide range of techies so I don't think you should be looking to YCombinator for funding.
Also just having a "good idea" isn't enough anymore. Venture Forums see hundreds if not thousands of business plans a year and spend about 30 seconds looking over 95% of them.
It is also difficult to find an god outsourced coder, not to say that they aren't out there, it is just really difficult to weed out the bad one's.
Do you have an executive summary? I would start by sending out the executive summary to local Venture Forums in your area and gauge their reactions. Angelsoft.net is a good place to submit your business proposal to. You can only submit to 3 companies at a time though so chose wisely.
