This project looks awesome. I’ve really enjoyed your blogs about the design process and learnings. Brave to jump into Rust while learning a new domain but very commendable. Wish I had a close programmer friend to do this stuff with, sounds like a great asset to have such great chemistry.

You seem to be experienced devs, so I’m sure you already know, but don’t listen to the contrarians on HN. They’ll suck the life out of you because it’s not 100% the way they like it.

Born out of my frustration with powershell’s slow startup and confusing syntax I have long wanted to build a shell and scripting language in .NET. I have been working on it for a long time and thanks to Claude, I was able to finally get it over the line. I daily drive it as my shell on Windows, and really happy with it so far.Please try it and let me know where it can improve!

You should start an If/else from the else case and use unless keyword. { return 1; } unless 8 == 3 { return 2 }
