At 3:57 EST it's working fine for me.
Re:WebGL: Pointer Lock and First Person Shooter Controls on Tuesday December 04, 2012 @06:31PM (#4873950)
I'm running Firefox 17.0.1 on Ubuntu 12.04.1 and I don't seem to be able to get any of the demos working. Anyone have a fix?
Re:Nexus 4 available for purchase again today at 12pm PST on Tuesday November 27, 2012 @03:15PM (#4838705)
As of 3:15 EST, the 16GB version switches from "Sold out" to "Add to cart" about once every two refreshes. Even when it's "in stock", adding it to your cart triggers an error.

The 8GB seems to be consistently in stock, advertising a 4-5 week shipping period. It is possible to add this one to your cart consistently.

EDIT: Now getting a generic Google server error page: "We're sorry, there was an error. Please try again later."

Re:Nexus 4 Includes Support for LTE on Band 4 on Friday November 23, 2012 @02:27PM (#4823327)
So, the takeaway for US AT&T customers is that they may potentially roll out LTE on a band that the Nexus 4 supports, but it hasn't yet?

Re:The Great Dropbox Space Race on Monday October 15, 2012 @05:54PM (#4657334)
Unless I'm mistaken, the previous poster wasn't calling unblock-us a registrar, just referring to two different businesses that charge less than $10/mo.
Re:Show HN: Brandseen - A logo coloring game built in 24h on Tuesday July 24, 2012 @04:10PM (#4287691)
Lots of fun! Occasionally, whatever color I guess, it gives me a 0. Happened twice, on Dropbox and on Apple. I tried the game 3 times.
Re:Stanford's Most Popular Major Is Now Computer Science on Wednesday July 04, 2012 @01:16AM (#4197732)
Yep, ayla has it right, Operations Research. A bit similar to applied math.
Re:Stanford's Most Popular Major Is Now Computer Science on Tuesday July 03, 2012 @09:43PM (#4197205)
I would say that the only difference that you have to overcome is the tight-knit community of alums. As a CS/OR major from a Top 4 school, I haven't ever gotten an internship offer simply because I was at the school I'm at. Stanford especially is good at fostering connections in the startup community for their students, but Princeton has NY and Harvard has Boston.
Re:Day in the Life of a hackNY Fellow on Tuesday July 03, 2012 @09:32PM (#4197178)
I dare say more so on the west coast. I haven't yet had an avocado on the east coast that's anywhere near what I get from my neighbor's orchard.
Re:Double Stealth on Monday July 02, 2012 @04:58PM (#4190973)
This feels like a parody blog.
Where can I find this study?
Re:Ask HN: Initial feedback - imageoverflow.com on Wednesday June 20, 2012 @05:49PM (#4139297)
Fixed! Excellent
Re:Ask HN: Initial feedback - imageoverflow.com on Wednesday June 20, 2012 @05:44PM (#4139277)
After I came to your site, the very second link that I tried to click was broken, and this seems to be why:

All the links on the page seem similarly unusable.

Re:Skype 4.0 for Linux on Thursday June 14, 2012 @12:27PM (#4112106)
Unless I'm mistaken, the latest version of Ubuntu is 12.04
