Re:Request’s Past, Present and Future on Monday April 08, 2019 @08:22AM (#19604507)
No, but `request` does not implement modern JS features such as promises and async/await which generally have become commonplace. So what this announcement means is that such features won't ever be added, and that people should look to another library for HTTP requests in "modern JS".

The Deck isn't blocked by default, but the author provides a package you can easily download to block them as well.

This is what I've been using for the last month or so, it's been working really well! Thanks for the gem!
Re:Two-factor Authentication on Tuesday September 03, 2013 @03:03PM (#6322978)
Since they don't use TOTP it's not possible to use their two-factor authentication with applications such as Google Authenticator or Authy. What's more, I don't think it even works with third-party Twitter clients (Correct me if I'm wrong), so you have to use Twitter's own apps.

That quote is from August last year.

A lot of the complaints are about the fact that the Sparrow team had promised push notifications for the iOS client "with or without Apple". Now we get nothing.

I know, I know, don't buy an application based on promises, buy it based on what the application currently offers. Wise words, I have learned.

I'm sure that will go under "critical updates".
Re:TextMate 2 (Public) Alpha on Tuesday December 13, 2011 @01:20PM (#3348544)
When I asked on IRC I was told that the new icon is permanent. It's really nice in my opinion, but I do find it a somewhat odd choice for a text editor.
Re:Flux: Better Lighting for Your Mac on Friday March 25, 2011 @06:59PM (#2370700)
I am happy to see that F.lux for Mac is still being developed, and the new settings look great, but please allow me to request that the menu bar icon will be changed back to a monochrome one, or at least has a setting for it the same way Dropbox for Mac has.

Thanks for your work. I hope you'll consider my request.
