Re:Ask HN: Who is hiring? (January 2017) on Thursday January 12, 2017 @05:32AM (#13381232)
I work for a company called Honeypot. We have placed many non-EU developers with no degrees in jobs in startups in Germany and the Netherlands.

If you have no degree, you just need to prove that you have sufficient skills or work experience. It's more paperwork for the company, but for them it's usually worth it.

If you want more info, I can ask the team who looks after it.

Ask HN: Clothes for children related to the IT world

A colleague (software engineer) got a child and in the office we would like to give the child a cloth related to the coding world as gift.We found [1] and [2], but we were also wondering if you guys know anything better :)[1]: http://www.cafepress.co.uk/mf/97036750/daddy-codes-better_bodysuit?productId=1514335352[2]: https://www.amazon.com/Baby-Gifts-All-Programmer-Bodysuit/dp/B0155EDVF6

Re:Rails 5.0.0.beta1.1 released on Monday January 25, 2016 @03:32PM (#10969738)
This is more than a simple upgrade for Rails 5, since it includes several high-priority security patches for Rails 5.0, 4.2, 4.1, 3.2.

Would be great if you can specify this in the title.

I will open an issue with your suggestion. Thanks.
Thanks for the good points raised!
Thank you for your feedback.

That would suite well as module when used alongside the FTP module. I'll keep it in mind :)

Maybe it can be useful to someone. I'm using it for months on some production servers to make and upload to Amazon S3 ciphered backups of the databases.
