Creating your own porn site looks much easier then it is. You'll need a lot of traffic before you earn some bucks, and all competition is fighting for the traffic. But it's a fun thing to do!

If you want to start out, I suggest to get yourself a domain name and use http://www.smutnode.com to setup a tube site in minutes.

Censorship on porn is not going to do anything. I don't think it messes up your relation. In some cases it can even boost relationships.

And what if porn was censured? There would be a lot more crazy people on the streets.

I'm also a bit scared that when I launch the problems / features aren't developed in time. Since I'm the only one creating this product. Also when launched you should keep an eye on marketing / feedback what takes more time.

I'm planning on using uservoice so that users can add their wishes and complaints and work on the things that get most votes.

Probably I'll start working full-time on the product when I see that there is a lot of interest. But this probably isn't in the beginning.

Thanks for the tip. The early bird offer sounds really good!

Ask HN: Should I launch or polish my product more?

I'm currently developing an online service. By the end of the month I'll have a very basic product. I want to give the customers a choice between multiple pricing plans. The pricing plans will be based on volumes (traffic) and additional features.By the end of the month the service will not have all features available that I want to include in the paying plans. The questions is: Should I first...

Thanks for the tip! I'll certainly check that out.

Ask HN: Pricing plans with hosted applications

Currently I'm building a service that allows people to easily create their own website. The website will be pre-filled with content. The only thing the customer has to do is market their site. All sites will have the same subject, but can't get into detail on this. While developing I had a lot of thinking about the pricing plans, but that's where I get some doubts. How do you define a good...
