Yes, this exactly. We went into offline mode 1st and then that stopped working completely (all cards/taps payments rejected). So we asked every customer if they had cash before taking their order and we're able to complete those transactions just fine.
Soon afterwards, both of our terminals (iPad) were kicked out of the app and we resorted to paper and calculator for cash only.

Offline mode is great for when the shops WiFi or local provider is having connectivity issues. The Square software and reader queue card swipes and transactions along with tip and receipt information until a connection is reestablished. You can just keep ringing people up.
Today, we went into offline mode automatically and processed a few transactions. Then our app was forcibly logged out of Square service and we couldn't get back in to continue in offline mode.

Thanks for posting this, and you're right. I happen to work at a café and follow these type of events. I was unsure and only slightly confused where to get the information. Our boss slack'd the dashboard and then I found the support twitter. I'd bet many non-tech barista were confused where to look for guidance. It all made sense to me once I found it.

Yes, exactly agree on Adobe opening their SaaS cloud to be used on Linux machines. I don't understand their hesitations but I also don't see it happening any time soon.

Agreed. It's usually buried in the device settings and also in Messenger and Hangouts. Signal gives you a few different options as well. But it should be more visible to all users, not just those of us that dig through settings.

Yes, exactly my thoughts. While it's great that automated systems and networks can account for this man-made invention of time change, it is very stressful on humans and also unnecessary.
A dissolving and averaging out to a new standard would help everyone out in the long run..

Nothing, really.. It's not detailed, textured, shaded, intricate.

Wow, I really enjoyed the cloud-based features of Codebender when I was learning Arduino. At that time, my main Mac was having repairs done and I only had a Chromebook. Codebender IDE worked just fine on the Chromebook and I built many projects on it. I also really enjoyed the hosted libraries feature because I could find the files I needed quickly.
It was a great platform for those getting started with microcontrollers.

I remember reading here in Pittsburgh that the new street lights could be addressed individually or as groups and have their white points adjusted. I've never seen this in action and I haven't researched it further. But if they could be adjusted to be less blue, we'd still benefit from the energy savings.
