Great shipping from Jonathan - $9k so far lol
Yeah, this sucks. What are we supposed to do?
I'd be interested if people are going to wear their headphones less often or just say "screw it, everything has plastic now"
Nice to see them catch up with Edinburgh.
hope this is useful for people
There's a grain of truth to this but I won't take any lessons on social mobility from the media.
In the UK, at least, most are privately educated, did unpaid internships and a lot are sons or daughters of other journalists.
I'd take entrepreneurship over getting a job in the media any day.
Thanks to everyone at HN who supported this project when I launched it in the summer of 2019. It was top of the website for a good 24hrs.
But time to move on to new things

Hope you enjoy B2B more! Hows Lorelight going so far?
Looks useful - thanks for making this. It's good you can add notes for blocking people too.
One of the biggest problems is the places where people speak Gaelic are now full of Airbnbs/second homes.
A blast from the past!
I read the book and did some actual barefoot running (got a lot of weird looks) and a lot of friends bought the shoes.
Now I think about it, I’ve not seen anyone in Vibrams for years
Excellent article. I wish more old people would pick up weights. What often keeps me going to the gym is the knowledge I want to be strong when I'm old.
Nicely done! I'll add this to my newsletter - I wouldn't be surprised if you got some press for this.

That's a fookin crazy exit!
Always like seeing these stories. Will mention it in my High Signal newsletter.
Good read - I use ChatGPT almost every day but a lot of my friends only tried it when it came out, weren't impressed and haven't been back since. I don't know any non-tech friends who pay for it.
I don't really get how you can have a pardon when someone hasn't been prosecuted yet. Is there any chance this will be challenged in future?

I'd remove the emojis as it makes it looks unserious.
"Starter (Just Kidding)" - likewise, I don't know what you mean by this.
hope that helps
Everyone has been in denial - this was always the most likely outcome.
I don't think it's wise to assume everyone is going to be perfect at their job. Yes, that bike line sucks. But haven't you ever made a mistake at your job? Expecting everything to work perfectly in life is a recipe for misery.
thanks for building this Mubs!
Nice to see. Where Eton leads, others will follow.
We Work Remotely has a US-only filter.
I think there’s always a tension between people who want remote jobs to be anywhere in the world and remote to be within the US. A lot of job board owners are keen on the former.

Does the other person need a proton account to use it as well?
Nicely done! Glad you found a way to monetize it (I wasn't sure how you would from looking at it earlier on)
