Unrealistic, I didn't immediately get hit by a paywall
Re:Overgrown, when plants invade your abandoned tabs on Monday October 26, 2026 @04:22AM (#50240738)

Isn't it dead at the slogan already?

Re:There isn't an easy exploit for this PHP vulnerability on Thursday October 22, 2026 @03:36AM (#50192372)
The writeups showed up after 14UTC, after the embargo. All of those clowns sharing non working PoCs didn't actually know the bug, they only contributed to the general hysteria
Re:Upcoming Critical PHP Security Release on Wednesday October 21, 2026 @12:10PM (#50183365)
Even without that, with so many monoliths in php-land it's way worse than other stacks
Re:Upcoming Critical PHP Security Release on Wednesday October 21, 2026 @04:16AM (#50177544)
A: I'm writing a post, what versions

B: "5.6, 7, 8“

A: fixes a "typo" ok so "5, 6, 7, 8"

Re:Upcoming Critical PHP Security Release on Wednesday October 21, 2026 @04:10AM (#50177508)
The writing is what you have a problem with, but the script kiddie h4xxor theme isn't?
Re:Publish fake stats, get cited in LLMs on Tuesday October 20, 2026 @12:18PM (#50168679)
Publish fake stats and scam investors, chatgpt will tell them your idea is huge, while in reality it's irrelevant
Re:OpenBSD 8.0 on Tuesday October 20, 2026 @03:39AM (#50162606)
that's the gif loading, it should be fast once it's done
Re:OpenBSD 8.0 on Tuesday October 20, 2026 @03:35AM (#50162567)
I'm pretty sure it takes more to move debian 11 to debian 12 and Arch doesn't even have versions
Screenshot of patchnotes in the article says they did something to prevent focus stealing
Out of the random materials like ground seashells or exotic metals like tungsten I don't think anyone has ever made a lead-fill composite filament. And that is what I call a missed opportunity
Like car tires?
I wouldn't worry about that, but about bacteria colonies inside the print. Sure dogs already eat random (and literal) shit, but if it's placed on an already inflammation prone nose, maybe it should be a some special material. Bacteria don't grow on metals, maybe it can be some silver ion filament or maybe at least solid resin
They don't detract from readability for me, so it's just pretty symbols = me more happy
Truth is it requires getting used to, I don't even notice it's narrow anymore, but it was so painful throughout the first day
Re:Gemini 4 Argon on Tuesday October 13, 2026 @12:29PM (#50074410)
Have you tried editing SVG by hand?
Re:Total Annihilation, rebuilt for modern computers on Monday October 12, 2026 @12:50PM (#50059159)
Yeah, I (noob) was able to win 3v3 with bots on both sides, but 1v1 with a bot was insane and from what I've seen people need some meta strategies specifically for that, so imo not viable for casual play. Bigger battles with bots also kind of feel all the same (and boring). I think you+friends vs bots would be fun
Re:The smartest Claude Code feature is not for its users on Wednesday October 07, 2026 @03:32AM (#49989502)
Everyday we're closer and closer to becoming 40k techpriests chanting the machine god and hoping it'll just work out
Re:The smartest Claude Code feature is not for its users on Wednesday October 07, 2026 @03:30AM (#49989488)
It's a milder version of that situation where you talk to a microphone, but it has a slight delay so you're like stunlocked for feeling like eternity 3 seconds.
"User agent" but do users run LLMs behind their agents on their hardware? No, it's run in an AI datacenter. They can easily make a deal to route that without involving user's machine, or they can route this via user's machine but attach a signature. Of course both parties must agree on that, but technically there's nothing stopping them
Re:Tcl/Tk 9.1 Released on Wednesday September 30, 2026 @12:44PM (#49911267)
Imo omarchy is only the right choice for a person engaging in it's "hype", so I wouldn't give it to somebody else. They either want it themselves or it's not a good fit.
Re:I Could've Accessed 17T Microsoft Records on Wednesday September 30, 2026 @12:10PM (#49910787)
Idk if that's not too much of an oversimplification, maybe more like JWTs are an indicator/enabler of architecture level bugs?
Re:I Could've Accessed 17T Microsoft Records on Wednesday September 30, 2026 @12:07PM (#49910751)
Microsoft's bounty program and payouts are known to be pathetic, see that nightmare eclipse situation
You pasted in the decoded German and asked it to "decode" into English?
Maybe both watched Tom Scott a month ago about Bletchley Park?
Re:Cloudflare Quick Tunnels on Friday September 18, 2026 @12:48PM (#49756980)
Interesting how 4/4 other replies didn't get the centralisation concern despite it being a fairly often discussed topic
I wonder how many cores they plan to cram in there, at least like 256 right?
Re:Shopify moves back to Native from React Native on Friday September 11, 2026 @12:37PM (#49661279)
Ok, yeah, I forgot that people do ship api keys inside binaries
Re:Global Glacier Extinction Explorer on Friday September 11, 2026 @12:33PM (#49661191)
Water has the highest density at 4°C, but I have no idea how that'd relate
Re:Shopify moves back to Native from React Native on Thursday September 10, 2026 @12:38PM (#49646564)
Why? The api has to be secure. Mobile os keeps the app safe. Where is the attack surface?
