The service is something I'd like to try but it's always left a bad taste in my mouth seeing how the free service will expose my email in dns records.

I'm a firm believer privacy and security should be a default and not a pay to unlock feature. With that in mind I never gave this service a chance and instead tried to use other competitors for email aliasing. [1]

Strong disagree. Migrated off namecheap after their support left a bad taste in my mouth. Also they had a data breach and did NOT notify me as a customer of theirs.

I am not related to them in any way but I would recommend you to use privacy.com to control charges against your cards for situations like this. Capitol One has a service called 'Eno' and Citi has 'virtual account numbers' if you have either of those services they can also help you control charges in a much more granular way than using a regular credit card. Hope this comment helps someone like these services help me.

I recommend CreditKarma Tax. Intuit purchased them to destroy them but was forced to sell that division to square. if that's any indicator of how much of a threat they are to intuits revenue stream.

At this current date 10/08/2020 from what I see nobody is able to block youtube ads on a smart tv or through the youtube app on a non-rooted phone. You can set up a pihole or dns ad blocker but this will not block any of the ads due to sneaky use of dynamic video ID to serve ads.

I would recommend privacy.com over Eno, though I have not used eno
A stringer captured this video below of a similar incident that happened recently in New York. Could this be related/ him?
