I think you're crossing reliability and availability.
Reliability means 99.9% of the time when I hand something off to someone else it's what they want.
Availability means I'm at my desk and not at the coffee machine.
Humans very much are 99.9% accurate, and my deliverable even comes with a list of things I'm not confident about
Last three years I've been in the Netherlands, all pop was glass bottles, similar with most water
Ideally I'd like the same experience I have for Plex et al for my library on supported mobile devices.
Go to app, select book, download to device. Same as I would do with a tv show or movie.
Any chance you'd add ebook support?
Sure, but imagine you're wearing gloves, covered in dirt and mud and oil. I'll take buttons any time over the obsession with touchscreens.
I was in Oslo 5 years ago and even then, the parking meters outside apartments had been retrofitted with charger, and this was on parallel parking spots.
A lot of cold countries have plugs at every parking spot for block heaters. It's not too big a leap to retrofit those for some level of charging.
This is not correct. To the passengers, this just looks like another seat next to a window with a plug installed. It's not a door.
If there was a reconfiguration to a seating standard that required the extra exit, the plug would be removed and a proper door would be installed, with the associated interior pieces.

And last year, crypto was going to take over the world.
I'm skeptical of yet another, extremely computationally expensive aspirational technique.
In Europe they use Engineer interchangeably with Aviation Mechanic.
If this is a tour company, moving a plane, it's not unreasonable that they'd bring a mechanic along in case they needed an inspection on the way. It's cheaper than contracting out a lot of the time.
A lot of your lifestyle changes.
You buy groceries more often, but less of them. Or you bring a wagon or those metal carts.
Furniture etc. gets delivered. Because everyone gets deliveries, the cost is lower because they have stable demand.
With good transit, you take it to the station or rental car if you're doing a road trip.
This is incorrect. As soon as one incident was found, they would have had to ground the fleet until they had checked all the rest of the planes.
It's not a should, could, maybe, it's a your fleet is not flying if you find a problem like this and haven't checked.

I disagree. I review when I have polarizing experiences (good OR bad), or when I want to show support for a business.
I think tying a review to your google account is also good, because anonymity on the internet is generally used by people to say things they wouldn't say in the real world, often in harmful ways.
This is interesting, but I don't see any of the major banks... Only online / brands that seem new or I've never heard of.
People might get scared off if they don't see the big names they are used to IMO.
Other than that, UX looks neat. Would be nice to be able to type in the country search boxes.
I mean, potentially.
The reality is they try to protect as much of the assets as they can and even those over 250k will probably not lose as much as they would have without the FDIC
Just an FYI, the first link (NMEA OneNet) sounds great, but isn't actually used by any of the major manufacturers yet sadly.
Also, only NMEA2000 is based on CANbus, NMEA0183 is not.
As someone with a boat, Signal K is super useful. It doesn't necessarily replace the other standards, but it means I can take my cats pajama's worth of other standards (NMEA0183, NMEA2000, homegrown Ethernet sensors) and ingest all of that data into one platform. After I've done that, it's really trivial to visualize it all in one place.
The average US person commutes 40 miles?!? That's like 45 minutes to an hour a day!
Safety purposes. If you're away from the school, a student gets off course, bad weather, etc, they would much rather you have extra fuel than too little.
It's also dependent on what's being flown. Sometimes they will fly with less for weight and balance.
I mean, the thing about a quick hack job is the person building the code has a very well defined problem and knows exactly what will fix it. And so that's almost a perfect requirements to solution match.
I really hope this drives "My tech delivers value!" instead of the asinine "We're going to burn money until we're a monopoly!" strategies.
This was also a huge issue with BlackBerry 10. We kept getting bugs about 999 being dialed because of the way the screen recognition was... The phone would wake up in your pocket, dial 999 and you'd pocket dial EMS because it was allowed to be dialed from above the lock screen no matter what.
When you turn on the feature it is VERY specific that it sends the data to external servers. There's a disclaimer and everything, right in front of the user.
Now, is it a glaring red pop-up? No. But IT department's can also choose to disable the feature if they don't want their company to use it.
Definitely.
We laid a ton of people off due to Covid. One year later back in business, hired most of them back.
Forbes estimates a basic, entry level fighter pilot costs about $5.6m to $10m+ to train.
An experienced pilot, obviously, is even more... But that gives you an idea of the starting value of a pilot!
Absolutely! We're currently looking at that idea :) She just needs to decide "what business"... she's a Clinical Engineer, and getting into Medical as an entrepreneur can be challenging.
A fairly significant amount of women have dedicated a decent amount of time, and money, academically, socially, etc. To their careers.
Why, some women have even found working to be more enjoyable to being at home with kids.
All joking aside, my wife is extremely worried about the impact her career will take from having children and her life goals include executive level leadership as part of her career. So you could, in fact say that corporate life really does matter that much to her.
I'm aware it's been solved, my company did almost all of the engineering work in the US for in-flight WiFi mods.
I'm sure Elon has a plan, but there's a difference between modding a gulf stream and devising an STC for production installation on 100+ aircraft.
