Ask HN: How to Get into Quantitative Trading?

I used to be a dev at a quantitative trading shop a few years ago but I lost touch with the trading and programming world for a few years. I'm trying to get back into this and would like to create a system to automate my trading for my personal account. I'd also like to have a backtesting platform. Are there are any resources for this?

If the accelerated asylum process does not apply to Muslims (including Rohingyas and Ahmadiyas), why is that not discriminatory? Why is the plight of a Buddhist in Pakistan more urgent than that of a Rohingya in Myanmar?

I am associated with an NGO that organizes after-school activities for children in a slum in Mumbai, India. I'm trying to create a course to teach them some programming skills that will enable them to get freelancing careers or be able to get jobs once they graduate school.
