I've got a CS degree and I'm working as a mid-level full stack developer. An unfortunate part of my career is being based in Iraq where almost no developer job exists, even if it did the competition would be crazy.I want to learn something new even if not software development related that should keep me marketable more than being a developer. But what!

I thought about that, and still do!

Unfortunately, I can't find a problem to solve, and believe me, I tried! Everything I come up with has been solved already with a better set of features.

As an Iraqi going to a developed country is very difficult without a job offer and a company willing to sponsor you. It's basically a hit or miss.

Ask HN: Startups, 0 Stability – Is It Time to Move on from Tech?

And when a job does open up,...

I'm really happy and productive with Django, DRF, React, React Router, and React Query.

Mostly I just use Django alone with nothing on top, not even a frontend framework.
