I've seen a shift from complete uncertainty to certainty, because in 8 years, YC startups have achieved notable success

In the beginning there were a lot of outside speakers, then they started inviting more of their own graduates

It was interesting to note that many of the speakers said that a couple of years ago they were sitting in the audience and looking enviously at the stage

too abstract ;) can you ask more concrete, plz?

AMA: I watched 100 YC Startup School lectures (from 2008 to 2016)

Hello everyone, I’m Alex, and I’m building "Ontol" - my way to structure world's wisdom. In the last 2 month I have watched 50+ hours of lectures from Y Combinator Startup School:• 2008 - https://www.youtube.com/user/startupschool/videos• 2009 - https://www.twitch.tv/startupschool/videos• 2010 - https://www.twitch.tv/startupschool/videos• 2011 - https://www.twitch.tv/startupschool/videos• 2012...

Re:Founders at Work: 150+ Y Combinator Founder’s Stories on Thursday December 23, 2021 @09:12AM (#29661949)
What's your favorite story from startup founders?
Re:Show HN: Curated list of 150 YC founder's stories on Monday December 06, 2021 @11:21AM (#29461638)
(Dedicated to Jessica Livingston and Paul Graham)

Jessica Livingston's book "Founders at work" (2007, 32 stories) inspired thousands of founders to start startup.

I find 150+ founders stories to inspire new wave of founders. (+pitchdecs, demoday videos and applications). And finding every day more and more stories! (Sometimes I think that stories find me themselfs.)

It was amazing journey, it change my mind, I rushed into unknnown unknowns, where angels fear to tread... and I want to share this with everyone.

I hope, that FoundersAtWork.io saves 50-100 hours for 1000+ new founders.

It is my "embarrassing MVP", I continue to work, and I need your feedback. (+everyone can contribute founder's story)

I Wish I Knew this 20 years ago.

For me, it is the best motivation video ever. I put at the same shelf as Richard Hamming's "You and your research" and PG's essays.

Incredible thrust charge

Intresting fact from 2011:

"Second, we’re also excited to announce one of the first (of many!) projects that Amjad has worked on with us: Codecademy Labs, the easiest way to play with JavaScript, Ruby, and Python online." (http://www.codecademy.com/resources/blog/amjad-joins-codecad...)

Hmmm...

Is it serendipity, that I just posted russian translation https://habr.com/ru/post/558800/?
In march 2020 I started http://ontol.org/ - my version of "Github for wisdom". Wisdom - is from DIKW pyramid "Data-Information-Knowledge-Wisdom" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DIKW_pyramid)

Glad to see what I am not alone! World need our hearts, hands and minds!

Now Ontol in close beta stage and I testing hypothesis in tiny russian auditory. But after this discussion, I will speed up by 300% ))) Thanks!

(My dream is to meet you in YC batch)
