The Inat API is so great. We use it on our chicago river cameratrap ID site to get species info and eventually upload results to it. Once we filter out the millions of Chicago Geese. https://rangers.urbanrivers.org/cameratrap.
Plus having a project is cool to see other observations in a given ecological area https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/wild-mile-chicago

How does it alert the publishers that a donation has been made?
How can I be ensured that my donation is going to the right place?
Can this auto donate a set amount per site?
Good idea but advertising vs altruism is a tricky battle. I will try it.

For bitcoin on occasion, but that's it.
It is odd though, I always imagine QR codes to be this magical static method to share information, but then I rarely ever use it. I believe that since it took so long to be developed as a native feature in phones, people never really adapted to scanning all the time.
I saw a well meaning nonprofit put a QR on their bumpersticker. Most dangerous QR in history.
